Obama supporters please don't get comfortable thinking this thing is in the bag. Mccain actually gained ground today using the Samuel "Joe" the Plumber in his rally. Please go out and vote this lead is very small and Obama needs each and every vote. Don't listen to the polls they are a smoke screen to keep democrat voter's out of the poll.

Joe the Plumber only voted once since 1996. He isnt even a licensed plumber. Here are the facts!

WASHINGTON - In the third and final presidential debate, Republican John McCain made inaccurate assertions about the catalyst for the current mortgage crisis

McCain also was misleading when he suggested that the "full extent" of Democrat Barack Obama's relationships with a former Vietnam-era radical and a voter registration group aren't known.

McCain implied that Obama's health-care proposals would take the choice of insurance policies and doctors away from individuals or hurt small businesses. Experts dispute both of those claims.

McCain played loose with several assertions.

Out of the gate, he blamed Fannie Mae's and Freddie Mac's lending practices as "the catalyst for this housing crisis."

Housing experts say that's not true. The subprime lending boom was fueled by private companies, not by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Three of every four subprime mortgages in 2006 were purchased for sale into the secondary mortgage market by the investment banks that are at the heart of today's meltdown.

McCain also said he was hurt that Obama didn't repudiate recent remarks by Rep. John Lewis, D-Ga., a civil-rights icon who likened the McCain-Sarah Palin campaign to segregationist George Wallace. However, the Obama campaign released a statement shortly after Lewis made his remarks saying that Obama "does not believe that John McCain or his policy criticism is in any way comparable to George Wallace or his segregationist policies."

McCain said Americans needed to know the "full extent" of Obama's relationship with Bill Ayers, a former member of the violent Weather Underground, and with voter registration group ACORN. Both already are well-documented.

Ayers, an education professor in Chicago, isn't affiliated with Obama's campaign. The men aren't close, and Obama has condemned the Weather Underground's violent activities in the 1960s and 70s.

Ayers held a meet-the-candidate event at his home for Obama in 1995, but McCain's claim that Obama had launched his political career in Ayers' living room is an overstatement.

Obama responded by noting that Ayers also was involved in creating the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, an education organization whose board Obama chaired. The group was funded through billionaire philanthropist Walter Annenberg and Annenberg's wife, both Republicans. Obama and Ayers also served together on a different charity board.

ACORN officials think some of their workers submitted phony registrations simply to meet their quotas. ACORN officials also say they're required in most states where they are active to submit all voter registrations they collect. Spokesman Scott Levenson said the group also notifies elections officials of suspect registrations.

There's no evidence that Obama had anything to do with the invalid registrations.

So let me say that your candidate is a liar and has to lie to win this election. Way to go on your choice of a candidate....

yup i'm going to vote. and according to Gallup Poles, we won't see the full affect of the debate reflected in polls until friday at the earliest. any changes in numbers are actually a reflection of before the debate. plus obama still has a healthy lead in the electoral votes and many of the swing states.

they use three-day rolling average to put out their numbers.

"It will be several days before the full impact of this debate can be measured in the three-day rolling average, although its initial impact might be apparent as early as Friday's report."

McCain is gaining ground because all Barry's lies are coming back to haunt him.

His association with Ayers is coming to light. An FBI chief was on the news today talking about Ayers and Barry and their activities in 2001. He was upset along with other FBI agents who worked on the cases concerning Ayers about how Obama tossed it off as if it were nothing. He said he could not believe that anyone as intelligent as Barry could not have known who he was dealing with. Of course if Barry was very intelligent he would not have been associated with Ayers in business or in any other way.

Barry's lie about ACORN and his association with them which he also treated lightly was blown away today when ACORN accused Barry of lying on the news and clearing up the record of his work with them.

Another lie that is in the process of coming out in the open is Barry's lie about his birth and citizenship. Lawsuits are popping up (currently two) demanding proof of his birth and citizenship which he has refused to provide to date. There is some evidence he was born in Kenya and his citizenship is really in Indonesia, and if that comes to light he will be finished. His grandmother told the stroy of his birth in Kenya, and his sister Maya and Barry say he was born in Hawaii in two different hospitals - I guess they are not sure which one.

I find it strange that McCain instantly handed over all records requested while Barry seems to think he doesn't have to. We are not voting to put someone behind the counter flipping burgers at Burger King here folks. We are talking about the man who is to be head of our country and our military. If we can't trust him in the simplest matters why would we want him in office?

Put aside your partisanship and prejudices and think about America! This is not some kind of kids game where we take our ball and go home if the game doesn't go our way. There is too much at stake for us to base our vote on party or anything else except for what is best for our country and for us as citizens of the USA!

EDIT: THERE IS NO WAY TO SPEAK RATIONALLY TO PEOPLE WHO REJECT TRUTH BECAUSE IT SUITS THEIR OWN BIASED OPINIONS. YOUR THUMBS DOWN ONLY SHOW YOU ARE UNWILLING TO PUT YOUR COUNTRY AHEAD OF YOUR DESIRE TO BE RIGHT!
