Now it all makes perfect sense! Why Obama is being set up to win the nom but lose the election, why McCain won't release his medical records, etc. Those sneaky, underhanded republicans cannot be trusted! Get ready for President Condi Rice who will ontinue Bushie's policies. Get ready for the new world order! (At least she's smarter than Bush).

I appreciate your thought processes here (especially regarding Obama, is that ever the truth), but I don't think they would set her up as VP for a couple of reasons. One is that McCain needs a solid conservative on the ticket. Rice has liberal social beliefs that don't jive with the need for an ultra-conservative. The biggest reason though is that McCain is trying to get away from the third Bush term concept most are assuming about him. If Condi is on the ticket he won't be able to shake that assumption and they could lose the election, even with Obama running. The image of Condi, Bush, and Iraq are permanently glued together. It would be nearly impossible to present her as a VP who doesn't represent the intention of continuing the Bush years. Though they might be able to shake that image if they highlighted her liberal social ideals. Could be wrong, but it seems like a bad bet.

OK Wiz. I thought this over and there's no way that McCain would ask Condi Rice to be his VP. She says she wouldn't accept it anyway in an interview yesterday, but you know how that goes. Think about this: McCain might as well ask Dick Cheney as anyone else associated with Bush. Whoever he picks will not have been associated with the Bush White House in any way. He may have Senior moments and he does have plenty of them, but I don't think he's that dumb. I wish he were because if there's anyone on that ticket associated with George Bush, McCain is double doomed.

Clinton and Obama will not team up. No legitimate candidate would consider Condi Rice as a running mate.

that would be awesome if he does. Then we can just link Mccain to all the 9/11 and Iraq blunders Candi Rice made. We also only have to get the Democratic Congress to charge her of 9/11 Commission perjury and impeach her, and John McCain gets a whopping 40 percent at the polls.

Yeah, less rough around the edges, too.

Whomever McCain picks as VP has a pretty good statistical chance of being President, if not in this term, in the next.

Dr Condelezza Rice will not be the VP choice.

You mention a new world order, waste your vote on Obama and you will get what you wish for, a socialistic nanny state that is bankrupt completely run by a racist anti-american

Vote for McCain in 08 and end the liberal lunacy

If obama gets the nod, I think you are right, it will be McCain and Rice.

I'd take Condoleeza over Bilary ANYDAY... She has real experience with the world leaders and they respect her!! But sad to say I heard she wants no part of this election or the office.
