Why did Democrats throw away American Flags in the trash in Denver Colorado at the DNC big Barack Obama speech?

The flags were found in the dumpsters & trash bags at the Democratic convention, and the flags were delivered to the Republican rally in Colorado springs today where attendees waved them proudly among the crowd.

After the Democrats from the convention had discarded the American Flags and threw them away in the trash…

And now they are kept in the hands of the people from the republican rally today, and they are being kept.

=)

So why did the democrats & their organizers not care to keep the American flags?

Do you really believe that they were going to come back and get them after they were discarded for a whole week, and about to be hauled away to a landfill?

I could not believe it when I heard about the American Flags being thrown away like garbage....What a disgrace...and slap in the face to every American who holds it dear...and dishonor to every man and woman who died fighting for our country...The democratic party has no honor and shows no love for the red white and blue...and had no intention of coming back for the flags...At the RNC I felt such pride when at every start the Pledge of Alligance was said and the anthem sung...and a prayer given...

I just saw that on Fox News at l:05 CST. They said it was a Vendor. There are thousands of American Flags..both small ones and Large Ones. A group of Veterans found the trash bags full of flags and along with the help of Girl Scouts are taking them to where McCain and Palin are going to be speaking in 20 mins. Fox said. Hope they carry it live...and I will sit and watch it before I get up and cook.

Why? Because they probably didn't intend to throw them away. It was probably an oversight that the bags of flags didn't get picked up by some low level campaign worker. One of your own sources said:

the cleaning crew threw away those 3*5 plastic flags, not the democrats. You think politicians and delegates walk over to PHYSICALLY THOW those small plastic flags in trash?



Have you seen a political rally? What happens after it is over? A clean up crew arrives and its job is to pick up anything and everything in sight for disposal.



Obama and Clinton both visited my university as well as Kerry too, 4 years back. The clean up crew doesn't give one damn whether its a 3*5 plastic flag or weather its poop.



Same thing happens after GOP rallies too.

Also a plastic flag of USA is made in China. Do you ever know that? You really can't claim it is true and real flag. Its value is no more than 25 cents.



True and real flag is a big flag made of CLOTH, that is manufactured in USA. If the flag is manufactured in Asia, you have already lost the right to claim that is American flag. That is just my opinion.



Unfortunately this also shows that outsourcing has become so popular that companies don't even want to manufacture flags here. This is the result of an extremely poor economy which nobody is talking about.



One important thing -- attacking patriotism of each other is nothing but dirty politics. Negative campaigning has always been the biggest tool of Bush administration supporters. Nothing new about that.



We want to hear what is being done to fix this terrible economy and instead what we are hearing is attacks on patriotism of opponents.



You will not win the election attacking patriotism or scaring the voter with 9/11. You have to talk real issues which includes economy, lack of health insurance by 50 million, etc etc. NOT what happened to small 3*5 plastic flags.

Obama and most libs don't love America they want to change it ,rule it, destroy it. I for one love this country with the best dam health care in the world. The only change America needs is a lib enima, get rid of big goverment and let us the american people leed this nation back to its feet. The President should not have to be santa claus like Sara Palin says- get up off your asses' and take on your responsibilitys that gets you through life and use the talent God has given you. Sorry, but that story is FALSE! Not to mention a distraction from the real problems our nation faces. It was traced to Carl Cameron, who has been forced to retract other false stories as well.



"All of the flags at Invesco were picked up and put in bags and into storage, along with the unused flags and campaign signs. The flags were going to be donated, and the signs were going to be sent out to be used elsewhere," the official said, speaking anonymously since he was not authorized to talk to the press.



Fox News' Carl Cameron and Bonney Kapp reported that they had "been told" that "a vendor at Invesco Field found the flags, which were going to be thrown out, and turned them over to the McCain campaign."



The Democratic convention official says that's not true.



"It's pretty reprehensible on their part," he said. "Someone made an assumption, took the flags, and essentially lied about what was going to happen to them. I mean, c'mon, we were never ever going to throw out flags."



Emails to three McCain spokespersons inquiring where the flags were found and how the McCain campaign obtained them were not returned.
