Question:
Why are Americans THIS afraid of Barack Obama ...since he is such a "uniter" and messiah of hope, peace & love?

I never wanted to own a gun in my life ...until now!

I have never seen a "president-elect" that represents such a clear and present danger to this country ....and is being vomited out in such a severe and hostile way.

Obviously millions of sane Americans didn't and won't allow themselves to become defenseless sheep and mindless zombies!

Real Americans know who he "really is" ... in-spite of the grand media makeover & marketing campaign!!!

Hussein's record speaks for itself....ANTI-AMERICAN!...
"God damn America" Barack Hussein Obama's message for 20 WHOLE YEARS STRAIGHT!

God Bless America!

I agree - you are crazy. What is the deal with guns anyway and who am I protecting myself from, other crazy people with guns in the middle of the country where the terrorists are least likely to strike? You are paranoid and fearful. I've lived in a big bad city my whole life (that always votes Dem) and never even seen a gun. I lived in NYC through 9/11, did you?

Obama is the opposite of a danger, he is going to restore our image in the world, which dumbass Bush destroyed. And what do you mean "who he really is" and what is a "Real American" since we all come from such varied backgrounds to the land of opportunity. Your post is racist and there is nothing wrong with the name Hussein - I can't tell you how many people I meet in NYC named Hussein who are hard working family guys.

We are afraid for the future of the nation We see through his lies If he is elected for a 2nd term most of all ( being a lame duck he may try to destroy America )

Ask yourself...

Why would a Kenyan be flown to the US to be born ?

Why do blacks admire a man who got all his traits from whites ?

Why did we elect a man who has had no military training

( in America ) to run our military ?

Why are people who voted for him just because he was African-American not considered Racist ?

We are afraid because he led a mob mentality to the polls , urging them to go right away to vote , while still in the moment ... before you have time to think --- very Hitler

How much do you really know about " Barry " - since you don't like us mentioning that he has a Muslim middle name ?

terrorist operatives planned 9/11 in the 60's and carefully executed it over the course of decades first hijacking planes too see our response and then pretending to just use them - and land and demand cash all the while seeing how to fly them and waiting til we forgot and now they have an operative choosing Supreme Court justices ? He is most dangerous for the future

Well-said.

This is just one of many things about Obama that don't pass the smell test. He's a phony. And the people who voted for him were mesmerized by the image they were sold.

Interestingly, Rush Limbaugh today did a segment on how the media is no longer obligated to keep secret the things they learned throughout the campaign. So now we're hearing that they really DON'T know this guy.

So much for journalist integrity.

Update for Saxton: there were 56 million Americans who DID NOT vote for him. Nearly 50% of the population - Obama's election was not a landslide by any stretch of the imagination.

We have to show them our boiling anger. I work too hard to have my financial security taken from me and have my great country be humiliated as a second rate power. We deserve better than this empty suit.

Dear Lucy,

I understand your position and i respectfully disagree with it. The rest of the world is wrong. They do not have our moral foreign policy and position of economic leadership, so they have the luxury of second guessing us instead of the moral certainty to do anything.

Because McCain and Palin told them to be, by using the fear tactics that won the election last time- at least technically. They scared you, didn't they? So who're the real sheep?

Many people are buying guns not because they are afraid of Barack and his "zombies" but because they are gun-enthusiasts and they are concerned that guns will not be as easily accessible to them.

What is a real American to you, by the way? I see many hints of ethnocentrism and xenophobia with this whole "real American" bit. Who are real Americans to you?

The church stuff didn't sit right with me either. Bye the way Tori, "panicky rednecks" is a generalization too. Especially when applying it to nearly half of this country.

I am glad to see you are still here spewing silliness.

The NRA ran an obviously successful smear campaign against Obama during the election that claimed he would do all kinds of outrageous things, including take away your guns.

Those claims were patently false, but obviously people, especially in more "racist" areas believed them.

One other funfact: a variety of hunting seasons started recently. People often purchase their first weapon to hunt.

We have the right to own guns. We have the right to protect ourselves. BHO is dang-wrong if he thinks he has the right to take that away from the American.

EDIT: Lucy2, shut the Hell up. No one cares that you speak 6 languages. Relevance, please...

Because they're ignorant fools, brainwashed by Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter, who live sad, fearful, desperate lives.

I love this quote from the article, from Paul Helmke:

"The one thing that they agree strongly with us on is that it's too easy for dangerous people to get guns in this country," Helmke said. "I guess if you're a dangerous person you might want to run out there and buy some more, but otherwise you should be OK."

Just wait, he'll statistics like these and the threats against him to rally the majority of Americans (cause let face it, the majority of American's are idiots), to outlaw guns in their entirety.

It's not Obama's fault that the right wing nutjob Republicans are going out to buy guns because they are so stupid to believe the NRA's lies that Obama wants to take away their guns.

because he isn't a uniter...and he most certainly isn't the messiah... and he is a very scarey man indeed...

"Americans" is a sweeping generalization. He did win the popular vote after all. The term you're looking for is "panicky red-necks".
