I think both national security and economy are issues. National Security is important to those of us who remember 9/11. If you had listened to McCain's acceptance speech tonight, you would've heard him talk about a couple of hard-working, tough-luck families whose struggles are his serious concern. You would've mentioned him saying that he was going to veto every pork-barrel initiative that comes across desk, so he can lower taxes and put more money in our pockets, where it needs to be at this time.

You don't have to agree with the Iraq War... that's fine... but you can't refute after 9/11 that there are anti-American terrorists who will stop at nothing to see every last American dead. National security must be a priority too.

If the security is lax and since they are determined to undermine our economy ,where it hurts us most, it falls hand in hand.

Pandering to the rich, and trying to scare the rest of us. The rich don't have a economic problem.

umm... because without national security our economy can't grow and social issues can't progress or get resolved when bombs are blowing up in our streets?
