Should the British have a say in the American Election?

Even if we have a smaller weighting than US voters?

I seriously worry about the American election because I'm stuck in a country that is America's lapdog.

Yes I've seen a question where the asker got flamed for saying the rest of the world should get a vote but I don't see why Britain should be left alone. The decision will affect the entire world.

No, only Americans should be able to vote. As people from free countries elsewhere, we have the right to speak about it, we have the right to say whatever the hell we like...I do, and I'm an Australian.

I don't believe we have the right to vote in an American election because we do not pay American taxes or use American infrastructure or public services. As a citizen of a free land, however, I can speak my mind, regardless of what certain Americans might think about that.

The decisions they make affect us all, so I'll be damned if I'll be stifled by people who claim in one breath that the US is about keeping the rest of the world free, and in the next breath tell us that our opinion doesn't count. While a HUGE chunk of Americans are thoughtful, embracing, compassionate and kind, there is a little section of nutbags who are all about $$$ and hypocrisy. And they are the ones who are screwing the place with their backward thinking and their global ignorance.

on condition that we've politicians with purely a splash air of secrecy, which isn't very commonly. Tony Blair and Margaret Thatcher are properly ordinary interior the US however the uninteresting ones like Gordon Brown or John substantial no longer plenty. i think of US politics is plenty extra approximately photograph than in Britain. If all of us started putting action picture stars up for workplace that could get slightly extra info insurance over the pond!

The British, like all other countries, certainly have a right to voice opinions about our election, but they don't get to vote.

I feel for you, but alas you are stuck on the sidelines. Try to educate people to the facts, that way at least you can try to sway a few votes in a better direction.

No. What you are stuck in is a country that will soon be under Islamic Sharia law. Better post all the questions you can, while you can.

Why did we fight two Wars against you? Why don't you concentrate on electing British politicians that act as you want instead of meddling in our elections.

PS - Dems only let Chinese financiers and illegal Mexicans try to vote.

No we don't have a one world government yet. I don't think we're America's lap dog either. Gordon Brown doesn't seem like a lapdog to me. You don't see him cosying up to George Bush.

Nah, we didn't have a vote when we were part of the empire so you don't get one now either.

I'm half-way across the world and I agree. We're the lapdog AND the lapdog of the lapdog. It's very degrading, being an Australian.

LOL - we tossed the Brits out specifically so they couldn't have a say in what goes on here. That is what revolutions are for...
