Nancy Pelosi as President?

We know that Nancy is in line for the Presidency should the Pres, and VP disappear. What kind of President would she make?

Also, have any other Speakers of the House ever become President?

Nancy Pelosi would make a credible president because she knows how the Congress works. Recent presidents who did not have congressional experience encountered difficulties with Congress from one time or another (Carter, Reagan, Clinton, George W. Bush).





The only Speaker of the House to later become President was James K. Polk, who served as President from 1845 - 1849.



Throughout his Congressional career (1949-73), Gerald R. Ford aspired to become Speaker of the House, but rose to become 'House Minority Leader.' In Octobe, 1973, President Nixon, under the provisions of the 25th Amendment, chose Ford as his replacement

for Vice-President after the resignation of Vice-President Spiro Agnew.



Speakers who later became Vice-President were Schuyler Colfax (Grant's first VP 1869-73) and John Nance Garner (FDR's 1st VP from 1933 - 41).

I guess I am the only one who would love to see what that would look like. If the Republicans manage to get some nut job to eliminate both President Obama and Vice-President Biden when Pelosi would be sworn in they would get every thing they have shown they deserve, namely exactly what they have dished out for 12 years. I Do Not want anything to happen to either Obama or Biden but I would LOVE to see that payback.

Pelosi could exchange into POTUS on condition that something have been to happen to Obama AND Biden concurrently. the rustic dreads that, as she is previous the administration of her very own occasion. all and sundry over Pelosi. i could in all possibility run for cover.

Pelosi is a coward. She is hated by conservatives. She is even hated by her own kind, the liberals. Obviously, if she were president, nothing would get done, as nothing ever does under a liberal president.

I'm a liberal and I've lived in Ms. Pelosi's district in the past...but I cannot say I'm quite convinced she's make a good President. But then, I felt the same way about George W. Bush, and look what we got - eight fuggin' years of disaster! Would Mizz Nancy do any better? I'm not convinced she would...

UGH, I gaged on that one. She is part of the mafia and is a liar worse then Obama, has a really big mouth, and a huge hypocrite. BTW, right now congress does NOT have a very good approval rating and that certainly says a lot about Pelosi.
