A speech was given recently by OBAMA. In the speech he said In the medical, economical, natural resource, resource, and all around the board people wonder why why is gas going up, why are my premiums going up? Why is the economy starting to fall.

The answer came Exon made how much quarter profit? How much has the medical industry paid out to keep health care reform from happening? And why is our economy going to shiznit....

The rich buy the politician or (bundlers and special interest groups buy out politicians) So the rich give a little get a huge return while your bucks get smaller in your pocket because god forbid gas does not need to be that high, god forbid our premiums dont need to be that high.

This is why i vote for obama. He wont change everything because its impossable to win every battle in one term or even two. But hes going to change a few things. He even said it he is not perfect. THis is going to be a battle.

Thank you! I really wish more people understood this! People are always saying, "oh, his message of change is empty." But those people haven't actually bothered to LISTEN or do any RESEARCH. They're too busy paying attention to mudslinging and sound bytes to do any thinking.



But the fact that so many people have faith in Obama based on what he's done so far (written legislation with a Republican to enable transparency in Congress, not taken $ from PACs or registered lobbyists, etc.) and what he will do (the stuff you said above), makes me proud that that many Americans do actually think.





Edit: Adam- Obama's comment on teenage mothers had to do with birth control: he wasn't even talking about abortion. It was right-wingers that brought it up. I'm also pro-life.

I think we are already in recession. I heard that 80,000 were lost this year. Republican has messed up for eight years. There no way I want to put another republican back in office.



I hope Obama will win. I think he's a born learn and can unite the people. I don't question any of the following things about Obama. People question his motive, since issues have not been described by him in depth.

Rev Wright Scandal - Guilt by association. I don't think Obama should be judge by comment made by his former pastor. What about John McCain and his white supremacist ties?

Tony Rezko Scandal - Obama gave the money back

His many lies he has been caught in. ~ All candidates lie. None of these candidates are perfect or God. McCain is a racist.

His changes are impossible in 4 years.

His wife's Michelle's attitude towards America ~ What Michelle said want taken out of content

Campaign contributions are in question. ~ He get most of his money from everyday working people

Inexperience. ~ I don't think none of the candidates have the experience not even George Bush Jr and he became president.



I believe in my heart that there is one person who's uniquely qualified to lead us in that new direction and that's Obama.

A. Inflation.



Obama doesn't address where the inflation comes from, and from what I see, he and his wife run a "not for profit" hospital at a profit, and charge people without insurance 3 times more than the people who have it, if that's the type of ethics we can expect, then lobbyists have nothing to worry about.

Obama is the new fresh guy on the political scene. He unlike the other two are not considered part of the "Washington Establishment". As a US Constitutional Scholar will be more incline to use it as a guideline; rather than trample on it as did George Bush. Voters are impress with his style of "Yes We Can", and yet feel part of the movement of change. He's Economic Stimulus Package has been praised.

the more i find out about obama the more i dnot like him. i think he comes off great and seems to be a general good person; however, all these things about rev wright and meeks have to make you wonder atleast somewhat about his true beliefs i can understand staying if it was only once or twice but there is no way he didnt know what he was saying in that church its not something minor you know. ontop of that it makes my stomach turn to know how far to the left he is on abortion. personally im pro life except in extreme situations but obama thinks its ok that if they mess up an abortion and the baby is born that its ok to still just let it die im sorry but wow that just makes me sick.
