In the very beginning who voted for the war. I was under the impression that because of the so called "false" information quite a few Senator's including dems voted for the war. With the election coming up I want to know which dems voted.

Anyone who wants to distance themselves and pander to the anti-war vote will claim they were misled. It's just a way they can point the finger at someone else to try to absolve themselves in the eyes of those they seek to impress.

The ones that voted for the War would have voted that way any way regardless of the factual accuracy of the information. Just think tricks and you have the exact idea. Put another way our Senators are almost to the last political prostitutes and will vote what ever way the donors tell them to vote. The best way for the American People is just to vote out the entire lot of liars and wafflers and get a little less corrupt blood into the halls of congress.

We have this very sophistocated report called the National Intellegence Estimate which contains the information that determined most of the senator's votes. The important part is that George Bush didn't write it. So if they said they were lied to for their vote then maybe they should point the finger at who was responsible. Oh by the way, Hillary said she didn't have a chance to read the report. DO WE NEED A PRESIDENT THAT DOES NOT HAVE TIME TO READ THE National Intellegence Estimate???

There were 88 Senators who did. Of the Democratic candidates that were around back then that are running for President, I only know that Hillary did. I know that Dennis and John Edwards did not. I'm not sure about Biden.

ron paul was the only republican in congress that voted against it. he also voted against the first gulf storm because he says its not the US military's responsiblity to enforce UN resolutions.

but he did vote yes to give the authority to capture or kill osama bin laden after 9/11. so he is not an isolationist like his is portrayed.
