Lost respect for Wesley Clark?

This is my second posting of this question, so please forgive me for double posting (current events), but I want to get a wider range of answers.

I just saw on the news that Wesley Clark has endorsed Hillary Clinton. General Clark was my Commanding General at Ft. Irwin, California. Since that time, I have had such a great admiration and respect for him, but hearing this, I feel a bit deflated and let down.

Just curious as to your thoughts....

Clinton is not my first choice Democrat but it does not make me disrespect Clark for endorsing her. Perhaps you and I should reconsider our view of Clinton rather than our view of Clark.

Googie and Dogs - do you even know who we are talking about.

Clark retired in 2000 - so he could not have been responsible for problems in Iraq and certainly has the right every American citizen has of pointing out that our current president is incompetent and misguided.

As for being a doofus - this is the man that won the conflict in the Balkans for us, prevented genocide all without losing a single American soldier.

Wasn't Wesley Clark very critical of the progress of the military in Iraq? Wasn't he partially responsible for what was happening there? Wasn't it on his watch ? You could not have been surprised that he would defect to the other side and cast blame elsewhere. This BIRD is another wannabe.

I lost a lot of respect for him when he endorsed her as well. But I figure he is looking for the SecDef position. Which he would be good for. However, I do not like that he has put his knowledge behind her.

I would have voted for him as president. But not anymore.

Well that's America. You can agree to disagree and still live.

What do you want? Another Bush?

Being that he's Keith Olbermann's favorite general, should you be surprised?

I just don't think a general should talk dirt about his commander in chief.

That dufus? Who cares (or notices) who he endorses?
