That is because the farther out you go the more republican it is.

My street has all McCain signs.

I have not seen an Obama sign.

I have a McCain sign in my yard.

I voted for Obama on Tuesday.

The sign keeps the loonies from ringing my bell and trying to convince me.

If I had an Obama sign they would TP and spray paint swastikas and break my windows.

I am not the only Obama supporter with a McCain sign.

The nickname of my village is Redneckistan...

I don't know how people in Leesburg can vote for McCain with the fact that Joe McCain called Northern VA "Communist Country" I for one also don't think that Northern VA especially with the Pentagon and all the military that live in that area. AND another surrogate called Northern VA not the real Virginia. I personally didn't know there was a Fake Virginia. To think that I spent so much of my youth Virginia and I never knew it was Fake.

You'd think that Leesburg wouldn't want to be a part of having people like that anywhere near the White House. I certainly hope that the polls in VA are correct and Obama wins by 10 points in VA.

Additionally, did you know that McCain staffers both at his Senate office and his Election HQ in Arlington have had Disabled individuals arrested? These disabled include Vets. I wonder how the Vets feel knowing that even though he's a Vet he has disabled Vets arrested? He claims he is for the Vets but has them arrested? I have issues with this.

I live in rural Mo. and the McCain signs by far out number the Obama signs, but I proudly have an Obama sign in my yard and have put bunches of Obama magnets on my car. I think I have gotten a few dirty looks from people, but no one has stolen them off my car.

I love Va. I was born in Portsmouth. Virginians are smart people with much pride for themselves and their country. I miss Va. I live in Ca now.,

A few years ago you had to use a microscope to find a democrat in Loudoun County. Now they generally carry the county especially in the east where most of the population is. Remember, just a couple of years ago, they tossed out the pro development republican board.

McCain addressed this by calling his supporters real Virginians as opposed to the more liberal "DC" run off. He was inferring that his supporters were the traditionally conservative republican Virginians.

Just what I heard, no offense to anyone.

You know what's odd? I live in NJ (aka liberal country), but I've seen a LOT of McCain signs! More than I see Obama signs. It makes me excited. We can't give up hope yet!

I sure hope so after all they have been labeled as rednecks and racist by a Democrat no less. and as for Chris in Texas you are right all of the morons are voting for Obama! Even Yahoo spells his name Osama!

That just goes to show how much the liberals really know about their own candidate!

ATJ - hate to break it to you but people in suburbia are voting for Obama, too. I live in an area that is all very high class suburbia outside of the city of Albany and we are flooded with Obama signs - not ONE, literally, not ONE for John McCain. People around here are MUCH too embarrassed to publically show support for that idiot.

Especially downtown and uptown Albany have buildings with Obama signs along the entire building. One of the only McCain signs I saw around here was posted IN A TRAILER PARK about 35 minutes from my house. Have you seen Obama has been in the lead for months? Does that say nothing to you?

Ignorance really is bliss, I guess.

GRILLED - that was a horrible thing to say. Race has NOTHING to do with this. Who CARES if VA is 2% black. Just because VA is a southern, conservative state does NOT make them racists. If you really want to get into the "race issue," I know RACISTS who are voting for Obama. Put THAT in your pipe and smoke it.

Eh, I live in Mass....the people here are still old school Democraps....Anyone who keeps electing people like Kennedy, Kerry, and Mayor Mineno to office has to have their screws loose.....

Hell, this state is like the only state who voted for Michael Dukakis when he was running for pesident.....LOL!

One demographic fact is irrefutable. WV's population is less than 2% black. Does that give you a clue about attitudes? Even Al Sharpton was afraid to go there.

I bet if you superimpose an IQ distribution map over the same areas, they will look VERY similar

You may note that the further west you go, the more spread out the houses are. More signs, fewer voters.

In Fairfax, it will be Obama all the way.

And probably all of Virginia.

The true patriot is an informed voter.

Obama will take inner cities and Democrats that do not know the facts, the rest of the country may not be so fooled as the propaganda machine would like you to believe.
