Who cares about the Edwards/McCain marriage/cheating scandal?

I think one marriage for life seems pretty unheard of anymore.
I mean I don't think because McCain got remarried that's going to have any effect on his leadership, nor would I say that about Edwards if he were veep.

McCain was already separated from his wife and they both decided on divorce long before that... I personally don't believe in divorce, but that was his situation. Edwards on the other hand... What sort of creep has an affair on his wife while she's dying of cancer? Two totally different situations. Reagan was in the same situation as McCain at one time. Edwards is just down- right- scum.

If this has to do with Tiger returned i will freak. "primary human beings" do undesirable subject concerns each and each and each and all the time. in basic terms as a results of fact they have not have been given money or a profession that's in the primary public eye, they do no longer rely to the media or something of the international. no person cares approximately action picture star lives. in basic terms make your video clips and songs, and so on, and end making your self a great exposure stunt. the tip.

How about the fact that McCain had an affair after his wife she became disabled and wheelchair bound and then left her for a woman half his age? It's not his getting remarried that's the problem. The problem is the way he went about it and the reason he did it? It's also been said he's playing around on Cindy as well.
I want a President who can lead and also one with morals, ethics and isn't ruled by his di(k. Doesn't say much about his character, which is just as important about the President as his ability to lead.
Republicans are easy to jump on Democrats who do this, but when it comes to their own, they'll give you every excuse in the book as to why it's O.K. Their mentality and hypocrisy is sad, but amusing at the same time.
Regarding Edwards cheating scandal, he told his wife about it when it happened. He didn't try and hide it from her and he and his family dealt with it. In that case, it's none of our business. The Inquirer should lose its certification to be able to publish any of its trash. They've brought this to surface again, 2 years later, knowing it would bring pain and hurt back to the family who seemed to have gotten over it.

Cheating is not cool, no matter who does it. But that being said:
Having a tawdry affair with a staff member while your wife is dying is hardly the same as your wife leaving you after you were a POW for five years and came back a changed man.
Even the first Mrs McCain has said in interviews that the marriage was already over because they had grown apart (five years absence will do that to ya).
Some YA people have attempted to say that McCain left her when she had an accident, which she has also stated was not true. She had the accident (and had recovered) a year before they split.
While cheating isn't an indication of being a good leader, it is an indication of the respect that you have for your family and your oaths and loyalties. It also shows poor judgment which is not great for any person in a position of power.

I don't give a rip about either. I don't care how their marriage(s) is/were, it's not my business to be in their bedroom.
I have not been married (I'm 17) and don't care about these things. My aunt, whose 6th marriage failed in 1997 and has not been remarried since, was disgusted that Edwards cheated. Hypocrite much?

Non relevant. I don't care. Stuff like this happens everyday!!! People cheat. I know McCain isn't going to try to point fingers. He abandoned his first wife and children for young 25 year old Cindy. ><

I can care less about Edwards'. He's not running for the highest office in the land.
However, McCain is. And it says a lot about his character. He cheated on his cripple, wheel-chair bound wife with Cindy and he eventually left his sickly wife and married Cindy.
He has no respect for women and his voting record has consistently showed this.

Why try and drag McCain into it?
That happened almost 30 years ago....Edwards was over the past year.
Another dummy of the libber slime!

I don't care. There's a war going on that could lead to WW3 right now, and we're dicking around with stories about what Edwards does in his bedroom. I think the media needs to get it's head out of the sand.

There is an old saying, if someone will lie to you, than they'll steal from you. Why care about anyone in society then? If a presidential candidate for the highest office in the land doesn't have to demonstrate absolute integrity, why should anyone else have to? This is a character issue. The local pastor or priest - so, they ran off with the church secretary-- who cares? Get the point??

What Edwards did should be between him and his wife. Do I agree with it? No. But unless it's my husband doing the cheating, it doesn't effect me. But let's clear one thing up. His wife was in remission when the affair was going on. It's not like she was in a hospital on life support the way some people are making it sound. Again, I don't agree with it, but there's no need to make it sound worse than what it already is. The only one that needs to be concerned about this is his wife and it's not our business to get involved.

I'm more concerned about the interesting donors to Obama’s campaign.
My favorite is Jkbkj Hbkjb from the city of Jkbjnj. His (or her) occupation is listed as “Balanon Jalalan.” Back in October, Mr. (or Mrs.) Hbkjb gave the campaign $1,077.23.
The odd donation amount could be because it was a foreign donation originally given in a round amount, but affected by the exchange rate when put in U.S. dollars. FEC regulations allow anonymous donations, but only if they are less than $50. Anything above $50 can’t be used in a federal campaign.
Some other donors include:
Good Will (employer: Loving You)
Doodad Pro (employer: FDGFDGF)
Is this a "reform" candidate? Is this Barack's "change"?

I don't think that people should really care about if they get divorced or remarried. But i do think people should think about it when they cheat on their wives. That just shows that they are sneaky and can't always be trusting.

I dont care. I will that up to his wife.
But the majority of the voting public probably cares...

I dont care about it. People in this country cheat all the time on their significant other. Politicians are no different.

Your moral standards explain why it doesn't bother you. Apparently you have never been IN love with someone else.
Now, don't get me wrong, I used to feel the same way you do, untill I really fell in love. People who really love each other don't do stuff like that. Untill you understand that you are only in love with yourself.
