Why ban semi- auto assault rifles? For those who dont know, all a semi-auto is.... Now with that said, I can kill you with a single action 5 shot revolver. So whats the differance if my gun loads a new bullet automatically or I have to pull a hammer back. I can still kill you. Besides that what most crimes are commited with anyway. Saturday night specials. Why? Because the are cheap to obtain and the fact they are a dime-a-dozen they can be stolen easily. The truth is that over 70 million Americans own firearms. Note that the 70 million are REGISTERED owners. Some states dont require that. Private person to person sales are also are under the radar. There is no telling the amount of firearms floating around right now. The point is, the left wing liberals do not want you to have guns to protect yourselfs from them. Whether you beleive it or not, thats why we have a second ammendment. To protect ourselfs from a corrupt government. Our founding fathers knew what the road ahead would bring. Did you forget that the supreme court just ruled in favor of gun rights and gun owners? Long story short, a firearm no matter what it is or looks like, is to defend yourself, and for food. For those who are against the ccw, you should thank them. Then again, thats the beauty of it, you dont know who is or isnt carrying. Also, it is the CC folks like myself that are the ones to defend you whiney little asses when **** hits the fan. Its us who are law bideing citizens who are trained and legaly licensed by the state to carry and conduct ourselfs in the matter of personal or 3rd party defense.

A patriotic American would vote for a candidate who represents the will of the people. I love how the modifier "semi-automatic" always seems to make it into any gun question. When I ask my anti-gun friends "what does semi-automatic mean?" I get almost 100% incorrect answers, except most would agree it is something bad.

This Patriotic American has and will. With all the other options at one's disposal for hunting, sport shooting and protection...I see no justification for the average person to have semi automatic weapons. If you want to own and operate dangerous machinery be prepared for government regulation.
