According to this interview, it is.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2kFrFIFizkU&eurl=http://noquarterusa.net/blog/

But yet his website has this as his policy.

Bringing Our Troops Home

Obama will immediately begin to remove our troops from Iraq. He will remove one to two combat brigades each month, and have all of our combat brigades out of Iraq within 16 months. Obama will make it clear that we will not build any permanent bases in Iraq. He will keep some troops in Iraq to protect our embassy and diplomats; if al Qaeda attempts to build a base within Iraq, he will keep troops in Iraq or elsewhere in the region to carry out targeted strikes on al Qaeda.

So what is it? What should I believe? The website or the interview? Or Should I not believe him at all, since he clearly cant keep it straight?

You are correct.

Barack Obama has changed his position on bringing the troops home.

Barack Obama was merely promising to bring the Troops home to get the Democratic nomination.

Barack Obama was never actually serious about bringing the Troops home.

Now that it appears that Barack Obama will be given the Democratic nomination, it is no longer necessary for Barack Obama to continue to make that promise that he had no intention of keeping in the first place.

There is a problem with youtube, it is soundbite news. I see links all the time from youtube and it is easy as hell to find the exact opposite of what a politician or issue says.

For the good of my head, and the soundness of my health, I have turned off the talking heads, smear radio and soundbite news. There are multiple places on the web that have information that goes into detail and doesn't end up raising my blood pressure to coronary levels. I can actually find information that proves that a very few of Bush's policies have worked.

Try the Christian Science Monitor -- not a Christian newspaper, but goes into far more detail then what I've said above - I was pleasantly surprised how informative it is when I started reading it 3 decades ago and I am not religious. Albeit today, because of the labor costs of gathering news and sources of advertising have dried up, it is not the caliber it once used to be, nevertheless, they are still much better.

I'll go with what his web site says.

You're playing lose and fast with the truth. After the Convention when Kerry ran. Kerry and the Democrats position was in step with the Bush Administration. Because of his convention speech, he was asked to actively campaign for the ticket, but he had to espouse Kerry's views.

Now, to Iraq. The Bush administration agreed they didn't know what they were doing in Iraq. They got together the bi-partisan group called the Baker commission. they issued the Iraqi Study Group Plan. It calls for the partition of Iraq into three parts. That plan was ignored by Bush, because he didn't want a defeat on his watch. He went with the surge.

Joe Biden has a soft partition plan, and that's why he's being considered for VP. Oh, there's two or three plans on the table, that will get us out quickly and safely.

Now. any Neocon, please explain your endgame.

Check the video. You can see that his hair and clothes seem different. Old film, you see the dishonesty. Just look a little closer. it's obvious.

No-one looks to have considered the information while he went there, definite he desires to tug out in sixteen-months, and re-installation in Afghanistan, did you permit out that section. a minimum of two Corps well worth plus naval and air help contraptions. hi that's no longer bringing the troops homestead as He stated. turn Flop, definite i will stay with the different area, they could say stay in Iraq, yet they are consistent. and that i desire my turn Flops on my ft. ;)

Obama's stance on US troops in Iraq - do everthing to defeat them and ensure victory for Hamas, Islamic Jehad, Jamiul Islamiya, and AQII (all of which are on the record having endorsed Obama for President).

Sickening how the Democrat Party roots for America's destruction.

Obama is a fence walker... Especially when it comes to anything that is too controversial...Abortion rights, Faith, and Iraq... Thats why Im so turned off by him. He seems to be too scared to actually stand up for what HE believes in. Instead he's trying to do whatever he can to make himself appeal to as many people. He talks out of both sides of his mouth.

Problem is, Obama doesn't know the difference between a Brigade and a Battalion. Talk, talk, talk. The guy is a babbling fool and knows nothing about the military.

As I understand it, he intends to pull troops out of Iraq so that he can send them to other locales that are not home.

I'd believe the website since that interview is from 4+ years ago. He woke up. Vote for the candidate who's awake.

His "stance" is to end the war and bring the troops home. You need to do more than pick soundbite a and article quote b.

He wants to bring them home. He has said it over and over again.

McCain says that "it's not important" when we bring the troops home. He's the only other alternative this year, and he obviously sucks.

Did you hear about Chelsea Clinton who interviewed a soldier in Iraq? She asked him, "What are you most afraid of?" He answered: "Osama, Obama, and Yo Mama!"
