As far as why are the clintons supporting him.

1. He is the best candidate left.

2. If he loses and Hillary supporters are the reason, her presidential aspirations are in the toilet and the toilet is flushed. There is no way Hillary could ever win a general election without strong turnout from liberals and blacks, and if her supporters decide that loving bush is the way to go - she will never get strong turnout from them. Liberals don't tend to forget things, they will vote green.
