Question:
Ladies, how does it feel to be betrayed by the Democrats?

For the last 30-40 years the Democrats and feminists have jointly been declaring that a woman who stays home with her children is failing to live up to her potential, and only be achieving in business or politics can her potential be realized.

Now comes Vice President candidate Palin who, by using the feminists own yardstick, has achieved a position near the very pinnacle of power in this world and the feminists are saying she should be staying home with her children.

So ladies, how does it feel to be betrayed by the very people who declared themselves to be the spokespersons for women?

I feel far more betrayed by the Republicans with their lies and hypocrisy. That's why I am voting for the smarter choice, Obama/Biden '08!

Oh come on... betrayed???? Not by the Democrats - We may live in the 21st century but the importance of a mother being accessible to her children can't be downplayed - career or no career! Vp or Gov. Her first responsibility should be to her family, especially so today with all the bad influences out there. Being VP is not a typical 'work from home' job. VP is full throttle and doesn't leave much time for dirty diapers or breastfeeding and pretty much anything else at home. Or don't feminists give much importance to things like that?? Many of the earlier feminists, today (i.e. CEO's, etc) have discovered that trying to prove you're some kind of superwoman and can do it all has cost them dearly, some more than others.

Bottom line? - Palin was chosen as a token in order to get votes for Mccain and we all know that, she knows that! so why do you refuse to acknowledge it?

Ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free. Up, up and away....

If the feminists are truly feminists and they're trying to EMPOWER WOMEN, then they should definitelty support Sarah Palin. They need to stop worrying about what her family is going through and talk about what is really important. That is what she can do for this country and the positive change she can help us achieve, along side John McCain as our future President. She will add a big change because she has a woman's point of view and it's something that has never happened before in history. A strong, intellegent, and loving mother as our Vice President? Wow that is Incredible! That is History in the making. Vote for McCain and Palin!

I was an In dependant as a teen, Now as an Adult I've come to realize and have done enough research to know I have the same views and beliefs as a Republican than a Democrat. I believe that Democratic party are very flip floppy. They will say and do anything to win this election. I SAY VOTE FOR MCCAIN. And do your research and learn about early slavery and how the Republicans opposed it and Democrats supported it before becoming a Democrat, learn about their history and see if you'd still vote for them. Also learn about Presidential Candidates' history and experience with politics. John McCain has more experience than Obama and can definitely makes less mistakes than Obama. Obama just doesn't have enough experience. Obama also cannot be straight fwd at times, specially when the topic involves his beliefs on abortion and live abortion. He sorta goes around the subject and somehow manages to not talk straight up about his beliefs. Watched the interview on CNN, McCain and Obama revealed + interview. Vote for John McCain as President

Every time a Democrat gets in office, I can count on my taxes going up while they spend my money irresponsibly. Every time there's an election, they say they're going to make changes, but they never tell you what they will change. They only take more money. That is it - just tell you what you want to hear but have no backbone or substance to back up the talk.

I have two beautiful grown daughters who have solid careers while I was a stay at home mom. I'm glad my daughters are successful in their careers and that they have that option, but never appreciate a government politician who thinks mothers who stay home with their children are not making one of the greatest sacrifices a parent can make.

As a Pro Life mom, I can't find one reason to vote for a Democrat.

As to Palin, she should be doing exactly what she is doing. Where does it say that moms stay home and dads go to work? Why not mom goes to work and dad stays home?

That's a very good question. Here's the part that I like. Sarah Palin married an ordinary guy. Imagine that. He wasn't rich or well known. He's a regular blue collar worker who races dog sleds. In other words, Sarah Palin got where she got on her own merits. Period. Let's see. Hillary got where she got because... Hmmmm. What if Hillary had never married Bill. I wonder.

Nobody really talks about the fact that Sarah Palin is a self-made woman. No money. No family connections. No nothing. Bush was the son of Bush, Sr. Biden's kid is the attorney general of Delaware. Look at the Kennedys. So many people are born into money and family connections. Now comes Sarah Palin. Here's a quick quiz for all of you. What's Hillary's husband's name. Now name Sarah Palin's husband. See, no matter who Sarah Palin married, it makes no difference because she is self-made. I challenge anyone to find any family connections, money or anything else that can explain how she got where she got.

nope just that she has far unrealistic views saying that global warming is not happening ("HEY what is that big brown cloud over your head?" chokes while asking that)

the fact that she wants to use fossil fuels when there is a big talk that we ARE using it up TOO QUICKLY and bashed the whole lets use solar power. HEY I am all for solar power and not using the stuff that hurts your lungs and makes the hot rays cook us further. My views, my opinions do not match up with hers. The fact that gays should have rights if they want to get married I think go for it and it should be legal. I see nothing wrong with it and yes I am religious but my beliefs differ further than yours for if We have to go down that road about god and everything he accepts everyone I REPEAT THIS IS NOT "SALEM"

. She wants to take polar bears of the list and they are endangered because it states that if their habitat is endangered then that pretty much sums it up and the fact that she wants to drill I guess cause of her husband

THIS IS THE AGE OF TECHNOLOGY AND SO I THINK ITS TIME THAT WE MATURE AND USE SOLAR POWER AND FRIENDLY CARS THAT LIKE THE ENVIRONMENT NOT THE KILLER POLLUTANT TYPES. She still denies alot of stuff that I am all for so that is how I come not to vote her.

Do you really think the answers to those questions can be found on UTUBE, UTUBE is like the Sunday funnies. Every once in a while one of them works. No one verifies anything posted. Truth will not be found in tiny boxes. There are far better sources of information on the internet.

Betrayed? Really? Follow the issues and see who is betraying you. What really do republicans do for you personally that a democrat cannot or has not? And a feminist is a feminist...that is a bipartisan role. Who cares if she became a vice presidental canidate, who cares if she has 5 kids, who cares if she really can handle being a good mom to a toddler and special needs infant AND holding one of the highes offices in this country. Good for her. No democrat has ever told me that is not in my reach. And my concern is qualification. Is she seriously qualified for that position?

I don't know how it would feel to be betrayed by the Dems, since I've always been a Repub. Dems have chicks (?) like Janet Reno, Ruth Bader-Ginsburg, and Geraldine Ferraro (who, if you remember, bares a close resemblance to Miss Hathaway from the Beverly Hillbillies)

I'm too pretty to be a Dem :(.

who's saying that?...i mean other than you

what they are saying is...

for someone who preaches "family first" seems odd that she'd run...the white house doesn't have "mommy hours"

see all this "bad press" you guys yammer on about was brought on by the way she beat the family drum so hard to get elected gov. in the first place.

but i don't expect you'd understand that...like 90% of other people....you prolly hand no idea who she was last week

And you're neglecting to mention that the speaker of the house is a democratic female.. The Speaker Of the House is more important than the VP

i feel betrayed by palin's views on abortion, gay rights, support for big oil companies, heathcare, obviously unrealistic support of abstinence instead of birth control, and basically taking women back to the 1920's.

Ironic isn't it?

It just goes to show you that the "national organization for women" isn't for all women; just for extreme liberal women.

Unacceptable and sad.

For some reason, people seem to wrongly think that feminism is exclusive to liberal politics; when that was never the intention.

Feminism also was never about abortion or the right to choose; it was originally about women being treated as equals with men. And last time I checked, men cannot have abortions.

Ladies, it's not about gender.

It's about who is capable enough to lead the country.

I wanted Hillary to do that.

But the same Republicans like Palin rediculed her.

The next best thing is Obama.

If you want to see Hillary in the White House cabinet, vote Obama.

No way will McCain hire Hillary.

But I do see Obama seeking Hillary's help and opinions after he's elected.
