No, but I believe that every member of Congress who lied about their CIA briefings should be removed from office. Exploitation of patriotic intelligence personnel for personal political gain is despicable.

I am no fan of Pelosi and I think on many occasions she has been dishonest... but so has the CIA.



Neither side is credible in this mess... sure, we could declassify CIA documents to get to the bottom of this but in the end who cares? Supporters for Pelosi will only believe what they want to believe and Pelosi haters will only do the opposite. Personally, I am tired of this story of who knew what. The truly amazing thing is that, given the level of leaks that the CIA clearly has, no one came forth to say that the members of Congress who were briefed on this issue were either lied to or were concerned that the program wouldn't work.

The issue here is that everybody knows that waterboarding is torture. And that was an approved policy. It is torture! Everyone knows that. And that was the policy of the Bush administration. Why don't we talk about that?
