Typical McCain supporter response 2 weeks ago about polls:

"Polls don't matter. Kerry and Dukakas lead too, see what happened to them?"

The media always pads the Democratic candidate by 5 points (or more) in the polls. They do this because they all WANT the Democratic candidate to win. This includes exit polls, which is why Democrats think Kerry and Gore are winning elections when they're really not.

Lesson to be learned: If the Democrat isn't ahead by at least 5-10 points, he is toast. The Bradley effect is more like "the media padding affect."

Zogby/Reuters nationwide pollhas McCain with information from 5 factors. i imagine the component that positioned Obama on the ropes became his cope out answer on the Abortion vs existence issue with the "it is above my pay grade" statement. ABOVE YOUR PAY GRADE! YOUR operating FOR the optimal workplace interior the LAND YOU extra proper MAKE UP YOUR recommendations UP NOW! The Lord Obama Messiah of the West has lost administration of the sheet that coated the fact and the Media whose my legs has a chills falling over themselves lost administration of masking up the fact about the racist church and mendacity about being "the single" who ought to "go beyond race and social gathering" yet no it is effortless to discover him ever doing something of the style. The eyes have opened and seen it is all hype and movie star and no substance. The 6 week absent polling of Indiana which Dems danced on as a victory for them with information from a million factor yet carried with information from Bush with information from 20 became an mistakes and the hot pollexhibits Indiana continues to be a Republican sturdy carry. The Colorado pollnow lower back in GOP and Nevada too. Now the crying foul with information from the Media has all started.

Sort of, in The Zogby poll.

Obama is still ahead in the RCP average that includes the Zogby poll.

It is still even basically, nothing to get excited enough about to keep bringing up.

most polls have it either tied or Obama up by 1, which is bad news for Obama. I think, with the bradley effect, McCain would win by at least 5 points if the election was held today.
