I mean gosh get over it..focus on what he can do for the country and not what color his skin is. People in this country need to grow up and let the race issue stay in the pass..I havent heard so much racial remarks (since i married my white husband) till this election..i mean dont it get old?????????? I feel for you. I am so tired of this racism stuff too, but racism is not old. There are some who will not vote for Barack Obama, even if he is the better candidate. Did you see the Yahoo! Polls? It is unbelievable that people still believe that Obama is a Muslim. Even though he has told people many times he is not a Muslim. I don't like the fact that he has to say this countless times but it is not true and Obama has to correct this. I'll admit Obama is racial background is unusual but he represents many who are biracial and multicultural person. He has achieved so much in his years. I asked my elderly father...why are they trying to make me feel guilty, and he said to me...would you vote for Condi Rice, or Colin Powell? And I said yes, and he said..see? It is how they stand on the issues, not their skin color..don't buy into the race guilt thing...He was right, and it brought new insight to me.
