Their leader Gilles Duceppe or however it's spelled is so cool. I remember him from when I was wayy back in elementary school. He's been running for such a long time but he's never gonna be prime minister because of us not being able to vote. When I urn 18 next year I'm gonna go to quebec during election time and vote for his party just because.

But yeah, how come we can't vote for them? Might as well let Quebec be a country by themselves then if we're isolating their party from the rest of the country! It's not like all french people live in quebec. >:(

It's not that you can't vote for them its that there are no members of their party in your riding. The main reason for this is b/c this party chooses to stay in Quebec only.

Why would you want to vote for them? They only care about quebec. Personally I think its disgraceful that a party of such exists. I want my prime minster to care about each province/ territory as equal and as important as the rest. I don't think any province/ territory should be seen as better or more important then the next.

I agree with you about Gil Duceppe. However BQ ia an exclusively Quebec Party, fighting for independence, therefore as a matter of principle they do not run in the rest of Canada. In addition they would not get any votes outside of Quebec, They do play a very positive role in Canadian politics, by opposing the Harper regime, and protecting the rights of the Quebecois Nation.

In Canada, the British parliamentary equipment fairly favors the life of two activities, regardless of the actual shown actuality that we've 4 activities. The Bloc québécois is genuinely defined by technique of Quebec nationalism and seriously isn't a area of the authorities. The NDP stems from an section celebration interior the Prairies that received some favors from the farmers. It now kinds a nationwide celebration, even with the undeniable fact that it hasn't ever succeeded to form the authorities. usually, the social-democrats will vote Liberal. often times disgruntled leftists will leave the Grits to vote for the NDP, yet they continually go back to the Grits at the same time as they staggering the issue. So in actuality by using all our heritage we had the Liberals and the Conservatives vying for skill, with the Liberals being the organic celebration of authorities. i imagine that the most important challenge with the yankee equipment is gerrymandering. The electoral map is drawn by technique of the politicians who then attempt to make electoral districts that can help their own activities. it isn't so in Canada, the position the districts are determined by technique of an impartial chief electoral officer. The district limitations are depending on social, least expensive and organic (ex : a river) causes instead of political.

They aren't about French interests, they are about Quebecios interests. They are determined to make Quebec its own country, so they do not run in other parts that they do not consider part of Quebec. It's not Canada doing this, it's the Bloc.

Quebecois only care about Quebec. They do not care about having branches in the Yukon or Nova Scotia, do they? They are virtual secessionists.
