Can we all agree that it is the Right of Every American Citizen to Free and Fair Elections when choosing our representatives?

In order to ensure those elections are Free and Fair, we must as a Society be able to Verity, and if necessary recount any election result right? This would be a minimum requirement in order to ensure the will of the Citizens is properly represented. How could we be sure of the election result if we could not?

This is not rocket science folks, and the simple fact is it's impossible to Verify Any Election result unless there is a knowledge of exactly Who it was that cast the votes. So why is there such a desire by Progressives to want an irresponsible election process? Don't they want to be sure our elections are Fair and the 'Will of the People' is kept?

I have been verifying election results at the Chicago Board of Election Commissioners since 1976 and I don't know what you're talking about. We do recount elections. I've gone over punch cards after elections to verify the results. Does anyone remember the whole hanging chad controversy in Florida in 2000. They were verifying the election results until the Supreme Court put a stop to it. I am a progressive and I don't know of any efforts to make elections unfair.

The only thing that I know of are the new voting machines that record the votes electronically and leaves nothing to recount. I am opposed to those. Those machines are manufactured by Diebold and Diebold co-chaired the George W. Bush reelection campaign in Ohio in 2004. How is this a progressive initiative? The vote was close in 2004 and it came down to Ohio. Bush carried It and became president again.

We already verify elections via the Federal Election Commission. So, what the hell are you talking about? If you're talking about IDs to vote...no one has a problem with that. It's making poor people have to PAY for it, which makes it a Poll Tax and a violation of the Constitution that we have a problem with.

It's not Rocket Science ;)

You seem not to understand the concept of "secret ballot."

I don't know of many conservatives that support the idea of getting rid of the secret nature of this.

That said, we do know WHO voted. When you come to vote, they check your name off.

You seem to be confused.
