Indians, why is the anti-hindu indian media criticising varun gandhi for speaking the truth?

I don't mean any disrespect to muslims living in india, but the purpose of 1947 partitition was so that muslims can have their own countries in the form of pakistan and bangladesh, because they were having problems about living in a hindu dominated country. The purpose of partition was so that all non-muslims (hindus, sikhs, buddhists, jains, christians) can leave the lands of present day pakistan and bangladesh and come and live in india, as well as that all muslims of the sub continent can go to pakistan and bangladesh.

So why is the anti-hindu media criticising varun gandhi for speaking a obvious truth? Since when was speaking logic and commonsense regarding a historical event classified as "hate speech"? What Varun Gandhi said (that all muslims should be in pakistan and not india) is not hate speech but a fact that each of us thinks to ourselves anyway?

My question is "is the media, government and public only targetting him because he is BJP and not Congress"?

People do not like obvious answers. Truthfulness and righteousness is replaced by selfishness. It is righteous that a Hindu asks why his taxes are being used to subsidise Huj where the people of that community spit venom against us. If a anybody is critical about Islam (like Tasleema Nasreen) they are not allowed to stay in India. I think Congress has converted India to a Islamic country rather than a secular one. Even the prime minister says that Muslims should get first right over the resources of India. What a shame on us that we elect such a weak party and PM to lead India. Hindus will get united only after more than 50% of India is dominated by Muslims and Iam sure when that happens these Muslims will kill the remaining Hindus. I do not know when we will learn wisdom.

Becoz they are all purchased by Congress. If anyone wants to really understand why did Varun say what he did we will have to understand this issue of Hindu-Muslims and a superficial analysis will not lead us anywhere. And if we go further in the past we will understand that Hindus in this country have always been taken for a ride by the so called seculars. But how long can you expect a community to remain silent ? The Hindus have had enough therefore they will speak no matter how caustic their language becomes, and hence we will have to face the kind of resistance we are witnessing today. So be prepared.

When the Thackery made inflamatory speeches on the north Indian citizens working in his state, or the Tamilnadu CM spoke against Hindu sentiments - calling their Divine King Rama as drunkard etc - or when the infamous painter Hussain depicted Hindu Gods in obscene postures.. neither the Govt machinery nor the media raise any hue and cry..!



Still these self styled "secularists" and human rights activists cry hoarse over the outbursts of a political novice - while the Maharashtra chauvinists or the Tamilnadu seasoned politicians or the hate filled "creativity" of muslim painter etc go scot free..!



And still you find the like of Rahuls air their selective sensitivities to secularism..! I don't agree with you or the Jr Gandhi that muslims have to go away, but agree to the extent that the ones hurting Hindu sentiments (there are quite a number of over zealous Xian missionaries also doing their rounds denouncing Hinduism as false religion etc) have to be warned that the tolerance of HIndus should not be put to persistent tests.. just because the govt and the major Media (managed by foreign interests) wink at such violations !



However, emotional speeches do more harm to our cause than add strength to our right arguments. It is not correct to ape our adversaries who get away with any provocation on Hindus, just because of poor resistance from the majority of our own community (most of whom are abnormally influenced by western misconceptions of our ancient religion - even if not wholly atheistic in outlook..)



But we have weathered such challenges in the past and will survive the present onslaughts as well.

The last part of your question itself is the answer If the media, govt and public - all are against him then who is with him. Nobody wants him around except probably Maneka Gandhi who has no political future. He is trying to create a divide on the basis of religion.



Indian media is an independent. They are doing their duty to the nation. Let them do their job. Why you want to shut them up? Because they speak what they see? The media never said Varun should go to pakistan? They reported what they heard?



India is for Indians - not for HIndus, Muslims, Sikhs or christians. Being Hindu, Muslim or anything else is a matter of personal choice..

Some day if I want to become a muslim nobody can stop me. Converting to Islam does not mean that I should migrate to Pakistan.

one should understand the circumstances/ conditions existing in the subcontinent in which the partition demands were made , the way in which popular support was garnered for partition, the Indian electorate's status especially to make independent decisions for the benefit of the nation and British double speak on such issues et al .. which led to partition.

the acceptability or otherwise of the process of partition to large sections of Indian and Pakistani society was never debated.It is naive to simplistically define pakistan for muslims and india for hindus; points to a skewed interpretation of history and not commonsense.

THE MEDIA IS NOT ANTI-HINDU. Infact no one is anti-Hindu, except those fanatics who try to fool Hindus for votes.
