They basically slanted the coverage negatively towards her ( a moderate) and positively to leftwing/radical /liberal Obama
What's the big mystery?

They are trying now to behave like they didn't do this to her because they don't want her angry with them. In spite of the DNC leadership, Senator Clinton is still very influential and carries alot of weight with the American people.

Don't blame this on the press.

Actually, the coverage for Clinton was very positive initially, even leading up to Super Tuesday. The coverage became more intense (interpreted as negative by some) when she was being so overwhelmingly defeated in state after state. She was floundering and basically saying just about anything trying to turn the tide (which garnered criticism - such as the sniper story and she was the candidate for working class white people).

When she finally got back onto her message and not smearing Obama, people in a number of states responded. However, it took her WAY too long to get back on HER message and by then it was too late.

So, I think the criticism of the Clinton failure is the story of a campaign that thought they had it in the bag and did not plan for a hard fought grass roots campaign.

Hilary was a good candidate and possibly the best candidate, but with a campaign staff and organization that let her down.

She is a good Senator and I hope Obama will find a place for her in his administration. I personally think she should become the Senate Majority Leader instead of Harry Reid.

Ratings obviously

but it's pretty obvious what went wrong

Disorganized campaign.Poor preparation for caucus states. Underestimated the power of small donors. They thought she was going to win it by Super Tuesday

They didn't get the hang of it till Ohio and Texas. Today it seems pretty clear that Obama won the nomination during those 11 wins. The Clinton campaign paid the price by losing

But in a way it's a good thing she lost because she now knows what she did wrong, and if she runs again she can learn from her mistakes. I sure hope the next time she's more prepared

So your saying the media did this to her by slanting the news in favor of a left wing /liberal they like because they don't like a moderate You might be right good thinking.........................ho...... possible that if they did this because they favor a radical liberal how to y'all think they would feel about Mr Bush Just a thought....I can hear you now ''ho come on the press give me a brake bush is a war criminal '' The New York Time having Gitmo front page news over 50 times and the killing of 197 Russian kids 6 times does not prove anything right? What is more news worthy the possible mistreatment of a grease ball with dryer lint on is face or a blue eyed little girl getting her and 197 of her class mates getting their heads blown off

I wanted to know were her little blue eyes open or closed when they found her

She ran a flawed campaign, but still came very close to winning. Even if the media coverage was slanted against her, it's interesting that you choose to ignore the poorly run campaign.

Her campaign was underfinanced, did not have a consistent message, was top-heavy with her political supporters who were not the best people to run the campaign and - please - let's not forget Bill.

These things really hurt her campaign. You need to try to see things the way they really are. If she were elected President, how would she run our country? A campaign is much less complicated than running the country and she made terrible choices.

I understand that you probably feel badly because you supported her, but I think you should try to be realistic and truthful with yourself. It'll help you move forward.

Well as a Clinton supporter, I would say the media was the least of her problems.

Basically the campaign had no post Super Tuesday strategy and early on, they thought the whole thing would be over FEB 5. Turns out, Obama ran up a string of 11 caucus state victories from FEB 5-19, amassing a total of 120 pledged delegates, a deficit from which she was never able to recover.

Obama ran a smarter, more strategic campaign. We can only hope and pray he will govern that way.

Because they are idiots and hypocrites!! They dare to ask that question when they were largely responsible for putting her down and ridiculing her at ever corner.

Now they are trying to backtrack a little in the face of so much criticism... suddenly they want to look fair. No chance , you bunch of cowards!!

What they did to Clinton and what they are going to try to do to McCain is criminal.. there should be some law that does now allow the media to take sides.. it is just wrong.

I sure hope McCain is ready for this.. or perhaps he is just another sacrificial lamb that the Republicans are putting out there. They know they have screwed the country so badly and have no idea of how to fix it.. so let old McCain look like he can.. too bad if he loses this..then they will wait it out

I just hate politics.. it is so crooked and sleazy.. yuck!

That is a bunch of crap, your saying that the media made the Clinton lie, back stab, flip flop, and pander. Some host do show some bias, but not with uniformity within their particular station towards a particular candidate. Now, there is one exception and that is the Fox Channel. Any one who says they don't have a republican agenda has a twisted sense of reality.

As usual, the media LOVES to speculate on things and anyalize things to death. They would have done the same if Obama lost in the end to Clinton, so this is not surprising. Sad thing about journalism today is that it seems to be no longer a non-biased industry.

It's just more "making news." And they like Barack. He's an extremely attractive candidate who's offering real change. "Telegenic" is the proper word, I believe.

the camera doesn't lie

most of the things that made Hillary look bad were video clips of the things she herself said and did.

if she hadn't have come off like an evil backstabbing shrew no one would have anything to talk about
