Has anyone heard the new republican ad with Hilary/Bill Clinton in it?

I was driving home from work yesterday and heard a republican ad on the radio. However, it shocked me when I heard Bill and Hilary Clinton in it talking about McCain. Bill Clinton said you need more experience then 1 or 2 years then run a country. Hilary said McCain and her share some of the same views and Obama speeches are still suck in 2002.

Has anyone else heard this ad? If so, what did you think of it?

yes--it's disgusting--and proves the point of how divisive Hillary's campaign was amongst dems.

they used our own knife, hill in this instance, to go against us in November--Hillary's on the ad stating, "Obama has no experience, and has a speech and a resume, but McCain has this and that"

that was the stupidest thing she ever did--betting he'd be toast by now--now she's got a lot of egg on her face, she and bill.

What is at issue here is the War. While America has its troops in harms way, we should not be attacking their Commander-in-Chief by calling him names, claiming he is stupid or making wild accusations of illegal activity. Doing so harms our troops moral and encourages the enemy. Furthermore, it is possible to be in opposition to the goals of the President's Administration without personal attacks or phony investigations. The term for the party not in power has always been the "loyal opposition". There are good ways to oppose and bad ways to oppose. Bill Clinton committed a crime as President. He lied under oath and suborned the perjury of Monica Lewinsky. For this he was impeached. The Senate did not think those charges rose to the level where he should have been removed from office. There is a big difference between criticizing the President and bashing the President. I was critical of Bill Clinton for many things but I did not bash him. I am critical of Hillary for many things but I do not bash her. The next time a Democrat becomes president, he/she will be my president just as much as a Republican. You can bet I will be an outspoken member of the loyal opposition when need be but I will also support the President when his/her actions are correct. One cannot be so thin skinned that every criticism is seen as bashing nor should any American engage in bashing the President. Like it or not, the President is President because he won the election. It is a very difficult job and the President deserves our support and the benefit of any doubt. However, now that it is election time, one expects the gloves will come off. After the election, we need to get back to being America, One Nation Under God, Indivisible. .

No, but it's not surprising. If Hillary had won the nomination they would be using negative sound bytes from Obama and Edwards about her. There would have been plenty to choose from in any case, from any of them about each other.

EDIT:

Of course those who can't see past their own nose will claim that it means Hillary has indeed hurt the party, which is ridiculous. As though Obama and Edwards didn't say very negative things about her that could have been used the same way had she been the nominee.

If that's true, and the GOP is already making airing those kinds of ads, it's highly unlikely that Hillary will get the VP spot.

Haven't heard it but the first time I hear her praise Obama as the "best candidate" for president, after she endorses him, I will get sick.

After months of criticizing him and talking about his lack of experience, she will now say how wonderful he is - and it will be a huge lie and she won't believe a word of it.

i think the republicans are doing their best to:

1.) sway voters to the right

2.) urge obama not to take hillary as vp (it would make certain his election in the fall)

i'm sure those comments were taken out of context...they were probably talking about hillary's candidacy and trying to emphasize her experience. whether hillary likes obama or not, she would never try to sway people to vote for the republican party.

I haven't heard it, but I doubt it will do much good for the republicans. The majority of Clinton supporters who are defecting are probably not going to stay defected long - and the minority that remains defected wont be persuaded one way or the other.

I knew the minute Hillary's campaign went negative that this would be the result.

Shame on Hillary and Bill for attacking the Democratic front-runner for President.

This is exactly why Obama should not pick Hillary as his running mate -- and, once her supporters have calmed down and moved to the Obama camp, distance himself as quickly as possible.

and we are suppose to believe her supporters that say she hasnt hurt the party by the way she ran her campaign? The Republicans are using HER attacks on Obama in their ads!!

Yeah. These come from her trying to beat Obama to the Dem candidate.

Funnily enough, though, she's now sucking up for the VP spot. I hope he gives her it, though.
