President Obama thinks alternative energy jobs will "fuel" the recovery. Sales of the Nissan Leaf or Chevrolt Volt are weak. Unless gas prices become expensive enough, alternative energy will not catch on within the next ten years. Nobody knows exactly why gas prices are high. The housing market is weak too. Unemployment in the construction industry is 50%.

Can the next president help americans fix their economy?

THIS president is already doing that.

And he will continue to do so until January 20, 2017.

Vote Ron Paul 2012

Here is a video from his campaign if you're interested

1. Active duty members will have their chosen commander and chief to lead them. Ron Paul receives more donations from active duty then all candidates including Obama COMBINED!

2. Our borders will be more protected, less military intervention around the world, more defense of our country.

3. A fiscally conservative monetary policy, he'd like to steer us back toward a sound money system, a gold standard. He's the only one offering a plan to cut spending to the outrageous national debt.

4. A much needed audit of the Federal Reserve Bank

5. A proposal to end the war on drugs, or at least give states the right to choose how to deal with drug issues.

6. Increased states rights

7. Rather than a mandated health care system, a free market health care system where insurance companies across state lines compete for customers, health care savings accounts tax deductible.

8. Decreased income tax rates (he'd like to abolish it altogether, but a decrease is more likely)

9. Repeal of unconstitutional section of the NDAA, the part that allows gov. to lock a U.S citizen up without charge or trial.

10. Repeal of the Patriot act, giving citizens a right to their privacy again.

11. Obama won't be able to serve a 2nd term, if anyone but Ron Paul is nominated, I have no doubt Obama will win.

Ron Paul refuses to receive pension from the government. Ron Paul voted against politicians getting raises since he has been in office. Ron Paul got into politics to help the country instead of his own self intrests like the other candidates. Ron Paul also doesn't accept corporate money like the other candidates do. In fact, Ron Paul isn't just the best choice... HE IS THE ONLY CHOICE TO HELP OUR COUNTRY!!!!

As long as the next president is a real american and someone who honestly cares about this country...then maybe we can be helped. But he will have to be tough and take a few lumps and take responsibility now and then.

Things that Obama is unwilling to do.. he cannot make a decision and stick to it.. he lies to us over and over and when wrong he just blames someone else.. I can get that from my three year old.. I do not need it from this president!

Here's the thing why are we blaming Obama for what Bush had done to this country for 8 years when Obama didnt put this country in a decade long war. Obama didnt put this country into a recession either to where unemployment is ridiculous. Gas prices are priced according to what a single barrel of oil goes for on the market.

I don't think that's in the President's actual job description; both sides blame the President when the economy is bad but we haven't gotten to be the USSA yet and that's what it would take for the President(Premier?) to have that kind of power.

confident, he's the worst. u . s . a . has in certainty fallen. No jobs, spiralling debt and no destiny. Its purely selection is to mindset the ecu and beg for forgiveness, and hand the keys back to substantial Britain the place it may ultimately be taken care of out by potential of HM government.

The next president is Obama ... And he'll do much better than Grover Norquist's Criminal Enterprise; GOP INC.

I doubt that very much.
