Question:
Can anybody be mature enough and just say let the best presidential candidate win?

Thats my view on things people keep putting down these candidates thinking its gonna change the next person's mind. When in reality if the person has their mind set on a candidate then thats who they're goin to go with regardless to what people are saying about the candidate.

In God We Trust. LET THE BEST PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE WIN with the belief in "One nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all." God bless America in helping every one of us who can vote choose the person who will unite and bring Americans together regarding the very important and serious issues facing our country right now; and who will be good at making friends and allies for America around the world, not enemies. God, please bless our troops, the wounded and those now serving, who are making tremendous sacrifices for all of us at home here in America. Amen

Thank you, angel.

It would be mature to say this. However, we must take a look at how and why we've become so polarized in the first place. And we have to take a look at what is really going on within the system itself. There is a prevailing cynicism on both sides of this debate and for good reason. If we step back objectively, and I do mean objectively, away from party lines, we see a broken system. A system that is run by not ideal and democratic republic values based on a constitution provided by the people for the people, but one amended to serve something else. A country perhaps that's lost its way. And maybe this is why the arguments have become so heatedly debated. People are frustrated, distracted and perhaps more realistically confused about what is really going on.

It takes an educated and vigilant public to see through the smoke screens of propagandist sound bytes and commercials, and even the big media news.

It takes critical thought and interest to dig deep and research the truth about the issues and the candidates. And ask yourself honestly, are any of the people in office representative of you? Your values? Your wages? Your way of life? Do they live your lifestyle? Understand your conditions? Your concerns? Can they effectively and ethically answer for you? Can we trust our votes are going to be counted accurately? Can we trust that the election will be honest and not tampered with? Can we trust the system at all?

Until then, the answer to your question is no. We can't just say let the best man or woman win. Because the system is filled with so many problems and concerns, and we are so cynical, maturity and dignity aren't part of the game.

Aren't we trying to DECIDE who the best presidential candidate is? Isn't the whole point of campaigns, arguing, and debates to DECIDE exactly that? My only consolation after reading this painful question is that anyone posting this ridiculous thing, and using the word mature to describe it, probably isn't legally old enough to vote anyhow.

I hope the best candidate will win. That's why everyone needs to get out and vote. That's what really matters. What people say on YA isn't going to change my mind.

I voted for Obama already, anyway.

I don't think people are even aware anymore that there are more than Democrat and Republican parties. I vote Libertarian. Why? Because that is what the founding fathers were. There was no such thing as Democrat or Republican back then. We've just twisted it into our own little idiotic world.

I have been wondering and encouraging the same message to others. You sound like a worthy Ron Paul supporter, join us and his revolution to take our country back from all the nit pickers from both main parties.

I have to admit I have been somewhat of a hypo, because I have sparred with both sides here when I see unfair mud being slung in either direction. Kind of like a referee. Being neutral is best!

Sorry. Not this time. If the dems ran any one else but a racist, socialist, closet Muslim who has too many skeletons in his closet I would say yes.

I'm not impressed with McCain, but he is an American patriot, I am not a democrat but Hillary Clinton is an American patriot.

Whoever won, I would say it was the will of the people and whoever the president was I would know that they would each be governing to the best of their ability for the betterment of the country.

I don't think an anti-American candidate should win. Sorry.

Um ya: "Let McCain, the best candidate, win."

In my immature opinion. If Obama can spend 3 mil to put his desperate plea to America on 30 minutes of television on 7 different channels and slander McCain from day 1. Who's to say Republicans can't speak up? Just because they call us conservative doesn't mean we're gonna go down without a fight.

The problem is there isn't a "best" or even "good" or even "acceptable" candidate this year.

Basically all we can hope for is that the worse candidate loses... I would refrain from putting any type of positive impications on either of them.

You know if the press was over 95% on the side of McCain would you be saying the same thing?

If the press would only take 10% of the investigative time they used to give anal exams to "Joe the Plumber" and Sara Palin - we would have an election between McCain and Clinton! The press is on the side of Obama and that makes this election so one sided!

The worst and most terrifying part of the Election is that Americans get to say who becomes the most powerful person in the world....

Actually no, its the fact that another American is going to become the most powerful person in the world...

You are correct. All of my attempts are not geared to change peoples minds.....rather than a moment to pause & "if" their candidate wins......they can reflect back and say to themselves....."boy I screwed up". They'll never admit it, but they will look in the mirror and say it. --- then it's too late.

This is one example that supports Biden's words about testing Obama and this is Obama's own words......I bring you>>>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8sj91NH5fvw&feature=related

Like I believe the best candidate is McCain.

Truth needs to be said somewhere, you won't find it in the liberal media thats for sure!

The fact that BO shows absolutely no reverence for the flag in any of his actions speaks volumes as to who he is running for (self) and who his friends are (socialists, radical racists) also speaks even more disturbing volumes as to what direction he wants to take the country. He is an ultra-liberal Marxist, quite un-American! Hitler was a good speaker too, very charismatic, talked about change, made his own 'marketing logo'. Some great change that wacko brought! I'm so over people pushing 'change' when change for the sake of something different is like out of the frying pan into the fire!

McCain is a centrist. Fact is, McCain-Palin have more in common with two great past Presidential leaders, Ronald Reagan (Republican) and JFK (Democrat), than they do with either Bush. Unlike Bush, McCain is a moderate who will unite the parties with his cabinet appointments. Ignorant self-serving liberals (esp the media who are spoonfeeding the barrack-a-backers) have attempted to paint McCain as 'just another Bush' which is about the same as saying OBAMA IS JUST ANOTHER JIMMY CARTER because hey, they are both Democrats. Perhaps the BO will switch from his nasty cigarette addiction to smoking cigars so he can follow in the perverted footsteps of Clinton with his young aides?

In truth, Obama has more in common with Vladimir Putin (Communist) and Karl Marx (Socialist) than any past American leader. Even Obama's own party has people jumping ship to vote for McCain. I think most people who think instead of get their opinions spoonfed by the media have gotten past the media hype and the glossy charm, seen the truth, and will vote with their brain, and conscience.

People are making their decisions base on the information that is being thrown at us by the liberal media: You should research to get the true facts about each candidate.

* abc, nbc, cbs, cnn, and msnbc are all liberal.

* LA Times and NY Times are liberal..LA Times will not release the video of obama, ayers (just the guy in the neighborhood) toasting with rashid khalidi a formere PLO operative.

* moveon.org is owned by George Soros (google him). He is bankrolling obama's campaign. obama is part of this organization as well

*factcheck.com is owned by the Annenberg Foundation in Chicago, which is a division of the Annenberg Challenge...obama and ayers worked together here. Ayers appointed obama to be the 1st chairman of the board. Ayers was given a $150 MILLION grant to help reform the Chicago Public Schools. The CPS sytems is still one of the worst school systems in the US. Where did all that money go to???

*Google ayers education forum trip to Caracas, Venezuela in November of 2006. He was invited by the dictator, Hugo Chavez. He and obama want to "reform" our school system just like ones in Hugo's socialist government....pretty scary.

*obama's donations are in question, maybe illegally

*obama's citizenship is in question...see source below There was a lawsuit regarding this matter.

A couple of quotes from obama's 2 books:

from "audacity of hope", he says, "I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction."

from "From Dreams of My Father", he says, "I ceased to advertise my mother's race at the age of 12 or 13, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites."

"I found a solace in a nursing a pervasive sense of grievance and animosity against my mother's race."

He told the nation during his boring infomercial that he loved and

was proud of his mother

"It remained necessary to prove which side you were on, to show your loyalty to the black masses, to strike out and name names"

"I never emulate white mena dn brown men whose fates didn't speak to my own. It was into my father's image, the black man, son of Africa, tht I'd packed all the attributes I sought in myself, the attributes of Martin and Malcolm, DuBouis and Mandela."

*one of the books that obama read in college was "Rules for Radicals" by Lipinski. It was given to him by Frank Marshall Davis (a communist)

Here are some of the many truths that all of the above media outlets would never provide.

Do your research before you vote for a man just because he is eloquent. His eloquent words from above provide you a window into his soul.

Why say this when we may fight until the end? Why must you only see externally? You'll have all your answers when you look internally. In regard to John McCain's statement about being tested, I would like to state the following. It is subliminal and I am convinced that John McCain not only understands such intelligence, but operates in this manner. When people hear this particular statement, they will instinctively recall that he was 'tested' in war. From here, we become empathetic. When we empathize, we create an imaginative projection of a subjective state into an object and the object will appear to be infused with it. In this case, the infusion is wartime. When we think of war, we think of suffering and fear. The combination of these implanted thoughts, causes us to reflect on the current state of war that we are waging. Such suffering is something in which we instinctively wish to avoid at all costs, and he knows it. While I do not dispute his suffering as being tragic, suffering, in itself, does not define leadership. When we are deficient in having informed judgment, which in this case, such judgment is the plausibility that someone besides himself is capable of leading, we feel inadequate. To fill such a void, would be to replace it with adequacy. To feel adequate is to feel sufficient for a specific requirement. In this case, such sufficiency is perceived as being found in John McCain, himself. The specific requirement is the handling of this war we are in. Through this one statement, the unsuspecting will subconsciously fall prey to the idea that only he, 'the wartime hero', is capable of taking charge in these times. I have concluded that John McCain sees himself as not 'this one'...and not 'that one'...and not just THE one...I am convinced that he sees himself as the ONLY one. McCain has been notoriously accused of running his campaign based on half-truths where Barack Obama is concerned. Why? Because John McCain is smart enough to know that Americans will not be able to sift through all of this information without great confusion and chaos. Amidst such confusion and after all is said and done, there is ONE sure thing that is left in the minds of the unsuspecting. It is the intentionally implanted idea that he is the ONLY one. See how that works? A purposefully implemented chaotic system is a system that will appear as random, but is not. It is actually a deterministic system (that is predictable if you have enough information) governed by physical laws. Therefore, John McCain, being the implementer and introducer of such chaos, possesses not only the predictability of the outcome he so desires, but he now holds the key to achieve it.

I have zero tolerance for coercion, as I do anyone who would operate in this manner. I have an even greater disgust with John McCain, who claims out of his mouth that coercion and terrorism are wrong, but yet chooses to subtly and secretly coerce and intimidate others himself. I would much rather have someone wear their coercive behavior on their sleeve. At least then, I would have some idea of where I was being led, unlike a snake who sneakily leads me astray by playing the fear factor in the subconscious minds of the innocent and unsuspecting. While there are many types of terrorism, there are basically two forms: Obvious and subtle. I don't like either one. On November 4th, I am voting for Barack Obama. I have concluded that he is...the BEST one.

For all the thumbs down, I do realize that the truth can be most painful. It is easier to see the things that do not hurt because none of us wish to hurt at all, but the things that we turn away from, ultimately can be the most devastating. It is better to deal with your reality than to turn a blind eye, for the blind eye has never stopped towers from crumbling. On September 11, 2001, these people were not given the chance to escape. For them, I will not run from my own pain, as it is nothing in comparison to theirs. Surely, I owe them this much. Some of us really do never forget.
