To settle a family score? the man she tried to get fired had tazzered his son, threatened his father-in-law, and drank on the job. Whether or not it was an abuse of power, you need to realize that this guy was a horrible state trooper and needed to be dealt with accordingly.



and look at her record. The first thing she did as Governor was lower her own salary. She cut taxes, raised tax's on the big oil companies and gave that money back to Alaskan citizen's, she has been a strong supporter of increasing energy production which is making energy independence that much closer, she was commander of the Alaskan Guard, and she sold off a gas guzzling waste of government money (jet). Sure she pushed to hard in an attempt to fire a failed state officer but she has done a lot of really good things. You don't get an 80% approval rating for nothing.

I see a lot of innuendo there with not much support from two very liberal writers that cant even get facts straight. She was not found to have abused her power as the opening suggests she was found to have betrayed public trust by not stopping someone her husband from using access to state record to further personal business.The tazering of my ten year old nephew would elicit that kind of power abuse from me as well so who am I to judge. As for the rest of it I see very little that isnt everyday politics there. How many trips has biden gotten or friends he has "found" jobs for. Give me a break you wanna talk about ethics look at the man running for president that is financing voter fraud, friends with terrorist, trained the organization responsible for the sub prime mess. She is a reformer. She reformed the Office of Governor of Alaska from ethical to unethical. What a reform that is.



Hope that Alaskans remedy that dilemma by putting her out in the cold. If they should keep her, that only would make her believe that she is untouchable and that could be extremely dangerous.
