It seems like they have all done something that questions their character, from Clinton, and her contributors, Obama, and donating money to local officials who will be in charge of the democratic Caucus in several early states, to Rudy, who thinks the perfect person to be in charge of our security is a man arrested for corruption, then you have Mitt who wont talk about religion and seems to be the republican version of John Kerry.

Only a sucker ever really trusts a politician. Keep an eye on all of them, especially the ones you like.

No. We have the usual group of evils to choose from and none of them will make the nation any better. All are bought and paid for by the wealthy and big business. It is a sad situation when these are the only choices we have. The 2 party system is corrupt and needs replacing. Actually, the entire federal govt is corrupt and needs replacing. Our Founding Fathers are spinning in their graves at the sociological failure the USA has become. The govt ignores the People and works soley to make $$$ for a few. Pathetic at best.

Right or left I don't trust any of them.

It's a matter of degree though - some you know are outright frauds - Hillary falls into this category in my opinion - and some you know are faking a little but are genuinely concerned with the country.

For the most part I think the left is generally more untrustworthy than the right.

I trust Ron Paul and John McCain. Ron Paul is honest and open and wants nothing more than a safe, protected, strong America. And though I disagree with McCain on many issues, I fully trust him also. I mean, the dude has been tortured for his country and never gave in. If anyone loves America and will fight to protect it, he will.

of candidates in the Big 2--Democrat and Republican, the ones who come closest to being trustable are the 2 who are honest with what they believe:

Dennis Kucinich and Ron Paul

the "first tier" candidates are those who have honed their political selves the best, and therefore are least to be trusted, and keep their real thoughts quietest.

I trust Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich and believe they would genuinely do what they advocate and BELIEVE IN what they claim they will do. U

Unlike the other gentleman, I agree with the bulk of what Ron Paul stands for and intend to vote for him...if necessary as a write-in....in the March Ohio primary and again in November '08.

The candidate I most trust is not running but should. Al Gore has kept silent about his desires so far. That said I guess there isn't anyone running right now that deserves our trust. The candidates in both parties stink. Why can't we come up with someone who is smart and able to run this country in the way it should be run?

The only candidate I trust is Ron Paul.

Ron Paul. Ohh, & by the way, the only people that RUN after an office are politicians. Ron Paul is a constitutionally based REPRESENTATIVE, "STANDING" for office.

Yes I like and Trust Barack Obama.

Ron Paul because he is for the following and has the record to back it

-end of big govt

-end of iraq war

-end of deficit

-end of unbalanced budgets

-end of devaluation of dollar

-end of policing the world

-end of exporting US jobs overseas

-end of income taxes

-end of no enforcement of illegal immigration

-end of corporate socialism

-end of no longer following the constitution

-end of unsecure borders and ports

-and a foreign policy of peace-commerce & friendship

his 20 year record in congress has shown he does what he says and does not pander to groups or special interests anyone who is portraying him this way probably hasnt really looked into paul and are just smearing a great candidate

I like Edwards. I trust Kucinich and Paul, by which I mean I believe they sincerely mean what they say, but I won't actually VOTE for either of them.
