I just saw Rove being interviewed on Good Morning America when Rove said that American's weren't focusing on the GOP campaign but rather with things like "Holiday Parties". Has Karl been captured by the liberal left leaving him unable to refer to Christmas Parties and the like?

Aside from Thanksgiving and New Years Eve and New Years Day which give three holidays that most Americans celebrate, there is Chanukkah which Jesus celebrated according the the Gospel of John. Also if you are Christian there are several December/January holidays which include: Saint Nicholas' Day (December 6TH), Catholic Christmas (December 25TH), Saint Stephen's Day(December 26TH), Saint John the Evangelist's Day (December 27TH), Holy Innocents' Day (December 28TH), Saint Sylvester's Day (December 31ST), New Years Eve (December 31ST) New Years Day (January 1ST), Epiphany (January 6TH), Greek Orthodox Christmas (January 7TH).



Calling a Christmas Tree a "holiday tree" is just a sleazy way of trying to force Christmas trees on non-Christians.



The Use of "happy Holidays it more accurate for Christians, and includes non-Christians. So, it is just far more polite. The US does not have a state religion and there is no reason to expect that everyone you meet is a Christian, so "Happy Holidays is just more polite!
