Gordon - 9 (He is good and the best among the candidates, but he lacks political machinery, which is very important. Sad to say, he will not win, although I will vote for him.)



Aquino - 2 (He is just living under the shadow of his parents. He has no backbone. If he will be elected, the government will be ran by the people around him. Just like what happened during his mother's term... remember the kamag-anak incorporated. Like her mother, he may not steal anything from the government, but the people around him surely will. He will not tolerate it, but he will not know anything about it, because he lacks intelligence and experience, like what happened during the term of his mother. If elected, history will just repeat itself.)



Villar - 8 (Next to Gordon in terms of rating is Villar. The difference between them is that Villar has a very good political machinery, coupled with financial resources. This election is between Villar and Aquino only. So if Aquino lacks ingtelligence, experience, and good platform, Villar have it all. In case of graft and corruption, all of them will surely steal and resort to graft and corruption. The good thing in case of Villar, he is already rich... (as the saying goes, ang busog pag kumain, konti na lang; or else, isusuka lang nya eto.), and he is not dumb to know who the people around him will steal from the government. He is the lesser evil.)



Erap - 0 (The only persons, who believe that Erap will win are he and his family. They are just fooling themselves to the benefit of the people around them due to their "jueteng" money. If Aquino, lacks intelligence, Erap is a nut. During his term of office as the president, I am ashamed of being his countryman whenever he speaks in english. What a shame.)



Perlas - 6 (This fellow has a very good record and very much qualified to become the president. However, like Gordon, he does not have good political machinery. Again, this election is just between Villar and Aquino only.)



Reyes - 5 (Based on the criteria prescribed by the comelec, he may be considered as nuisance candidate. I'm sorry to say that.)



Villanueva - 6 (He may have most of the above-mentioned criteria to become the president. In addition, he is the leader of a large charismatic group. But over-all wise, I doubt if he will win and if there is an assurance that he will have a 100% support from his group. In my opinion, his words are far different from what he is doing.)



CONCLUSION: Among the winnable candidates, Villar is the lesser evil.

AQUINO- 9 he is the best bet. He never said that he can do everything that's why I gave him a 9. He admits that he needs the public, for all of us play a part in the true change of the society( this is the 1%) For sincerity and adherence to truth I'll give him a 10.



TEODORO- 2 GALING AT TALINO, makes leaders think that they can do everything they wish. We need a man with a heart because there will always be a lot of experts for the different functions of the goverment; what is needed is an honest and compassionate man that will gather and lead this group.



VILLAR- 1 he lies and he has no moral goal.He wants nothing about being in political servitude other than to be somebody and have power in the society.

in my personal opinion:



aquino (6) - it was like, his mom and dad gave him the bid, but hasn’t done anything to prove that he is worth voting for. i think that if pres. cory aquino had died much later, he wouldn’t receive much support as compared to what he is enjoying now. I feel that he is just taking advantage of the sympathy of the people towards the aquino family. and he raps? my respect for him even went lower after hearing him rap in one his commercials. is he that desperate to have his jingle beat his opponent's?

de los reyes (7) - he seems ambitious and idealistic. i think he still needs more experience in leadership and it might be better to serve in a lower position first then aim for the presidency in the future.

estrada (4) - seriously? after what he had done, he still has the guts to run for another term?

gordon (8) - he has potential to lead the country. he has been on low-profile for the past few years, though, which makes him among the underdogs. but there is hope on gordon and his platforms.

perlas (7) - though an underdog in the presidential race, he also has potential, if he has received an award as prestigious as the 'right livelihood award', then he must have been a good man of service to the people.

teodoro (8) - looking at his educational background, there is no doubt of his intelligence. to be a topnotcher in the bar exams, and to study in harvard truly makes him worth the praise. i think he is one of the best bets in the presidential race. i also believe that his affiliation with the administration, especially PGMA (let's face it, her popularity has been consistent with its decline), has been one primary cause why he isn't received well by the people, especially the masses.

villanueva (7) - though he speaks of moral values for the Filipinos, there is something with him that does not make me believe him fully. one of his goals when he becomes president is to make the country predominantly Protestant. i think this is out of the question, since religion should never be a matter in governent and service. also, i think he would be better of as a servant in church. sometimes, it makes me think that he only uses his religious position to make the people like him, and ultimately, elect him to a seat.

villar (6) - let's face it. despite the almost undoubtable accounts of corruption, villar has passed numerous laws that resulted to a somehow better situation in the country. the only thing that bothers me so much is the corruption issue around him



i try write with as much objectivity as i can, though biases are still prone to appear.

Villar - 1 = smart in earning money, galing kc sa mahirap so maghakot ng pera kahit sa anong paraan (Villar C-5 supported by GMA and DPWH) huwag lang maipit sa legal battles, magaling umilag at magtago pag nakompronta sa mga kwestionableng ginagawa, honest to Gloria Macapagal Arroyo cuz sila ang tunay na magkakampi)

Erap - 0 = eloquent magsalita na parang durugista o palaging lasing ang dating, english mababaw parang kanto boy dinadaan sa pagpatawa para namang nakakatawa at nakakatawa naman sa maraming hindi nagiisip, midnight worker parang call center agent , madaling mahuli sa corruption kc mababaw magisip c/o Muslim Foundation c/o hweteng payola at pumipirma ng harapan sa empleyado ng bangko para madeposito ang pera from graft and corruption kaya nga convicted but pardoned by another of the same feather,

Perlas - 3 = good intentions but without clout in the society of politicians and business society

Reyes - 2 = too young yet idealistic, not sure how he can handle the presidential baggages

Villanueva - 4 = may the Lord keep him where he is now!

Gilbert Teodoro-10 (He has the credibility and the potential to be our next president. We should never look from where he came from or who is his boss! Noynoy Aquino-0 (He is just riding in his parents' name. He never showed any credibility in being a leader of our country. During the 2007 elections, he didn't get the first place because it was Chiz Escudero. Why? Because people don't remember much of the Aquino Family. Now that your beloved Cory Aquino died you're supporting him! Such hypocrites! You say that he will not steal and that may be true but look at his educational background and his answers in Presidential Forums and Debates. He cannot answer it properly because he is so darn stup*d. Not being intelligent requires a lot of advisers. This advisers will pull each other down to grab power and manipulate Noynoy. Thus, it will cause slower growth in our country. Please think first before you support because he may not steal but their is no ASSURANCE that his cabinet members will steal and take advantage of his tiny little mind.

I'll pick Villanueva anytime over the other candidates. I'm partial to most religious people, at least we can expect them to try to lead an honest government and eradicating corruption in government is the first step. Billions of people's money end up lining the pockets of corrupt and power hungry officials. Said money could have been spent on better things like education and creating meaningful employment for the jobless and the under-employed. He knows the problems of the country and he speaks sensibly on how we can address these problems.
