why do they do that? I just don't get it, its like they are still running against Bush. I don't think that the voters, for the most part with the exception of the Bush despising far left will consider it a swaying issue.

There's nothing new about this strategy. It's been used by every President since George Washington. Maybe we should settle it with a duel like Alexander Hamilton and Aaron Burr tried. Huckabee must be a good shot--he's been hunting twice. The v-p contest would be especially fun. We know Cheney can shoot--as long as it's bigger than a quail. Seriously, though--what do you expect the Democratic candidates to talk about--the weather? Oh wait, they're doing that on the pesky global warming "fiction" that the Republicans don't believe in. My God-Cheryl Crow touched Rove's arm--call the Secret Service! In answer to your question--when I have a Democrat and a Republican candidate, I'll vote for which ever one has the better ideas on the issues of the day. BTW--let me remind you--it's not just the Democrats who are bashing Bush. Get out of this forum and observe the real world. He has plenty of detractors from the GOP.

Those Dems were clearly wrong as well. This isn't about political ideology, it's about the decision made by a president of the US to invade another country for erroneous reasons. Those who voted to give him the authority to do so were equally in error--that's the main reason I wouldn't vote for Sen Clinton. The yellowcake that was found in Iraq was known to the IAEA, and is not a WMD in any case, unless it has been either refined into highly enriched uranium, or made into a dirty bomb--neither is the case here. The few mustard and sarin shells found out in the desert were clearly buried during Iraq's war with Iran, and the generals in the know are clearly on the record saying that they are NOT what we went in to find. Just because so many others were also wrong doesn't mean that Bush wasn't wrong as well. And he was the only one with the authority to launch the invasion, therefore the responsibility is his.

Actually, I don't think the liberals are bashing Bush for the Democratic vote. Democrats will vote for whatever the Democratic candidate is. It's the swing-voters that the Dems are bashing Bush for.

They have no plan to win the war, they have just submitted the budget with the largest tax increase in history and bashing Bush is all they have to run on. We have over 94% employment. We have record hame sales over the last 5 years. We have interest rates that are the lowest in decades. The stock market is at historical highs. That's hard to beat, if you tell the American people the truth.

Yes and no.

For the 2008 election, you have Hillary Clinton... who does not bash Bush hard but has own promises to the voters.

Those of who hate Bush would not vote for another republican.

In my opinion, what really matters is if Clinton gains the majority vote or not.

Based on what you read in the MSM and here, I think you nailed it. It seems that the Soros campaign worked well for Congress so they are going to continue with it in 2008.

It must be miserable only having the platform of hate bush, completely hollow and empty otherwise.

It also appears to guarantee another repub in the WH unless they can start answering questions and proposing real ideas other than party rhetoric. A giant step in the right direction would be for all of them to agree to debate with Fox News moderating. That would allow them to show AMerica what they are really made of, that they are not cowards or anti-american, that they can stand up to someone,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,who asks difficult questions,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,because if they cannot stand up to Fox News what will they do with islamofascists?

You got to be kidding. I'm a democrat & I vote for who I think is the best man regardless of his party affiliation.

I consider my vote more important than a tool to show I side with the one with an axeto grind. Those who would do it for that reason shouldn't even have the right to vote until they grow up & worry more about the country & issues than getting back at someone.

If they don't have an agenda of their own I couldn't care less what they think of others.

....

is it really that hard to understand that only a very small minority of "liberals" are really that stupid?

most real liberals vote because they feel the candidate will be the best person for the job..not because they bash Bush the most...since when does Bush bashing make someone a good presidential candidate? I've never heard even one liberal say that.

Actually I'm going to vote for the democrat who has solutions for solving all the problems and messes Bush has gotten us into these last 6 years. That my friend is John Edwards, not Hillary, not Barack, but John Edwards who has no problem stating what the problems are and how he will go about getting us out of them.

I'm going to vote for the person who is capable of running the government. No one can make an informed decision if all they do is listen to only one side while shutting out the other.

It appears that way doesn't it?

Have they forgotten that Bush isn't running in "08"? Or just hate him so much that it makes them feel better to listen to this crap?

One positive note on how much liberals hate Bush. Now they know how most Conservatives and Independants felt about Clinton.

Absolutely not. Someone who can focus on the economy, education, health care, and the environment as well as terror. Bush has nothing to do with it.

Yahoo News says that is how the Dem are wooing voters.

Not me, they won't get my vote. The dems sound like a bunch of six year olds, whining about the bully in the neighborhood.

Nobody, but nobody, is going to vote for a candidate (from either party) who praises Bush.

Get the point?

And, don't tell us that Bush is above criticism, please!
