For 3rd-5th generation Americans, what do you think 'bout a "work visa tax" instead of FICA for illegals?

i think if they are gonna work in the us they should pay all appropriate taxes and if they leave they forfiet them

Yes... or a withholding that they can draw from either way - if they finally achieve citizenship, it converts to FICA; if they decide to go back home, they get a partial kick-back as they exit the boarder.
Interesting thought - run for office.

i am 3rd..
for the life of me, i cannot understand why illegals want to come into our country illegally, profess to love it and yet still disobey its laws, and undermine its economy.
its not *that* hard to still do it the legal route. many people still immigrate here legally.
