Question:
Give me a reason not to vote for Ron Paul?

I just can't find any flaws with this guy or his logic. He seems to be the most humble, down to earth presidential candidate I've seen in my entire lifetime and I strongly believe that if our forefathers who wrote the constitution were alive today, he is the only Candidate that would ever be backed by them.

I acknowledge that all of his political ideologies have the possibility of taking a U-Turn once brought into office and being rendered broken promises just like Obama and just about every president before him but this man seems to have inseparable convictions.

Ron Paul is a constitutionalist.

Ron has never voted to raise taxes.
Ron has never voted for an unbalanced budget.
Ron has never voted for the Iraq War.
Ron has never voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership.
Ron has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch.
Ron has never voted to raise congressional pay.
Ron has never taken a government-paid junket.

Ron voted against the Patriot Act.
Ron votes against regulating the Internet.
Ron voted against NAFTA and CAFTA.
Ron votes against the United Nations.
Ron votes against the welfare state.
Ron votes against reinstating a military draft.

Ron votes to preserve the constitution.
Ron votes to cut government spending.
Ron votes to lower healthcare costs.
Ron votes to end the war on drugs.
Ron votes to protect civil liberties.
Ron votes to secure our borders with real immigration reform.
Ron votes to eliminate tax funded abortions and to overturn Roe v Wade.
Ron votes to protect religious freedom.

Now give me a reason why Ron Paul should not be the next president of the United States of America?

My reason is that he is...TOO GOOD FOR US!!!

He is also the one man up there who isn't endorsed by the big banks and wants to restore our national security and end militarism overseas. The man who predicted the economic collapse 5 years before it even occurred. The one man who is endorsed by more military supporters than all of the other candidates combined including Obama. The man who is on every morning show being asked economic advice b/c he's the only one candidate up there who can. He is not a fraud or a liar. He's been consistent for 30 years people need to wake up and do some research before they listen to the Main Stream Media.

Nobody can give you a good reason not to voter for Ron Paul. If you love America, and your freedoms, I really don't see a good reason NOT to vote for him. I really don't think there is much of a chance of him throwing us under the bus once he gets elected. He's been saying the same stuff for over 30 years. Why would he suddenly have a change of heart?

People who say he can't be elected, are just parroting what they hear from the tevee. The establishment wants everyone to beleive that Ron Paul has no chance, because people like to back a winning pony. He might have had no chance in 2008, but now it's a different ballgame altogether. The revolution will not be televised.

He won't win the nomination of either major party. The citizenry is generally afraid of liberty. One side wants to use the government to enforce morals and the other wants to use government for plunder.

I agree- he seems very likable and is delightfully consistent.

I wouldn't vote for him because I value government services- and that presumably wouldn't be a factor for you, since it seems you share his feeling that these are best left to the private sector. I am also pro-choice and believe that enforcing desegregation is a good thing, rather than leaving that decision up to the states.

My dad wouldn't vote for him because he thinks he's a "crackpot" on drug and international policy.

Other people believe that he has been linked unfavorably to white supremacist organizations or racist newsletters. Others may not vote for him because they believe he doesn't have much of a chance, ergo their votes are better spent picking someone who has a chance of winning. And so on.

But really, if you like his stances, there's no reason why you shouldn't vote for him.

Because he won't win the Republican primary. I like Ron as well, but he's got only a slightly better chance of being president than I do.

Posting the same question over and over will accomplish nothing. Troll

I will give you the same answer I did last three times.

He is a liar. I know him.

He has accomplished nothing in over 20 years in the House.

He has not backing, beyond you yahoo kiddies.

He does not understand the constitution.

He cannot speak without ranting, guess that is where you get it.

He wants Iran to have nukes. Sworn enemy of the U.S. good thinking Ron.

Bring all the troops home, good thinking again. 500,000 people on the unemployment line, thanks to your messiah.

Don't parrot, learn. Your ignorance will condemn you.

The one that gets me every time.

He is old and likely to die in office, any VP choice would likely suck... but we won't know until after the primaries.

Not to mention I do not support all of those issue you highlighted there. Matter of fact the abortion issue alone is enough to vote against him.

If you want more old people to die because they can't afford health insurance, fine.

Paul is an idiot.
