Is the UPA really secular or just an alliance of opportunists?

Now that elections are happening Lalu says, "Congress also responsible for Babri Masjid Demolition" and Sonia says, "Bihar has suffered under Non Congress parties like Lalu's RJD".

These same people who accuse each other then form an alliance after election to keep BJP out. Is this not an abuse of the people's mandate when they fight elections against each other and then join hands after the elections?

Can these people ever work for development or are they only power hungry opportunists who get elected by abusing BJP, not by doing anything for the people.

The Congress and it's allies have been in power for 95% of the time during 60 years of Independence and look at the mess they've made!

It's about time we threw these wolves out and elected BJP who atleast has a Nationalist vision for India and is not pseudo secular.

Why m most afraid of Congress coming into power is coz it can build an alliance with any party in the whole wide world whether or not they find that party in sync with their ideologies or not( i.e, if they have any ideology). It'd be ready to team up with the most heinous sad sack in the world to fulfill its ulterior motives. I wudnt buy into the bullshit of them being anywhere close to what one calls "secular".



And whats in vogue these days is to call anyone in support of Hindus, a communal person, but when the same thing happens for the muslims, its called "secularism".

They have been in existence just to oppose BJP.No other agenda.When parties without any serious morality or substance in the ideology come together they would not stick for long. As a matter of fact calling any party Secular or Communal has become outdated.A decade back, one time Language issue died a natural death .Today no one talks about this issue.

In any Organisation in india social/commercial/cinema/ sports ,multinationals or small business Hindus/Muslims/sikhs & christians are working/transacting together happily with fullest understanding. The issue exists in the minds of this out-timed party.They need to allow Young people ( other than just from THE family) to have greater say in searching/Addressing the real issues instead of just the FEAR of losing the MUSLIM VOTE. Stop imbibing minorities psyche with the FEAR that they would be targeted once BJP comes to the helm- -there are no takers .

How is Congress or UPA is secular when they speak about minorities,quotas in govt and govt funded instutions.Even though there was lot of protest they increased minority quotas to 49.5 %.

Clearly shows divde and rule policy.How can you say they are secular.



This time if they come to power they are going to extend there vote bank hands into private sectors as well.

These units alone employ much more than what any reservation scheme can offer.

Congress wants people not to vote religional parties and communal party. Surely I will not vote for Congress or UPA opportunist parties.
