He's already publicly said he plans to renege on taxing his chums like Oprah so their is no tax revenue source. Will he just print more money and in so doing devaluate the currency to point where it costs more to print than its worth?

Mr. Obama and his team are working with Congressional leaders to devise a spending package that some lawmakers suggest could total $400 billion to $700 billion. Some analysts forecast even higher costs. Mr. Obama has said he would direct his team to come up with a plan to save or create 2.5 million jobs in the first two years of his administration.

A big part of that will be public works spending. “We will create millions of jobs by making the single largest new investment in our national infrastructure since the creation of the federal highway system in the 1950s,” Mr. Obama said. He did not estimate how much he would devote to that purpose, but when he met with the nation’s governors last week, they said the states had $136 billion worth of road, bridge, water and other projects ready to go as soon as money became available.

I think that Bush's idea of bailing out wall street was probably a mistake, like most of Bush's policies and schemes have been. I don't think that we the taxpayers should have been forced to accept a bailout that was full of pork barrel pet projects. I think that Bush knew this economic disaster was coming and he hoped to be out of office so the next guy could take the blame. Maybe I am thinking too much, economics is not my strongest area. What I know for sure is that I am tired of slow thinkers ruining my economic future. I would rather take a chance on Obama who has received his campaign money from middle class people while, MCain who is funded by Bush, Big oil and lobbyists to whom he will owe favors, was involve with the saving and loan scandal. Once a crook always a crook. I think that I will put my trust in a Harvard educated, younger president than a hot headed old man who couldn't even remember to pay his property taxes in California for three years. McCain is not ecnomically inclined and is way too much like the dim bulb we just spent 8 years with. Moreover, I really like Biden a lot but Palins religious background and she seems too stupid to do much other than smear and lie. Obama 08

He's trying the failed Keynesian/socialistic economic plans that never work. All the money will come from from the citizens, either through taxation or inflation. At the end, you'll have too much money (worth zip) chasing too few goods. What America needs now is a good dose of Supply Side economics.

This is sure to be the most amazing *magic trick* of the century if Obama can pull this one off. No New Taxes? and sending the Iraq War into Afghanistan? so it don't look like anyone is going to Bail out the US..so I guess we will have to wait and see BHO preform magic

The same place money for anything the federal government does the American taxpayer. The worst words you will ever hear "I am from the government and I am here to help."

Oh come on! You know perfectly well it's coming out of our pockets. However, Obamabashing isn't helping anything. Do you really not have a clue about how our country has been run into the ground over the last eight years? You want to blame someone? Blame the entire structure of our government and the lack of oversight for it. Blame apathetic and disinterested citizens who can't be bothered to vote. Blame a lot of things that have been done to our detriment, but don't blame one person or one party.

It starts with you, then passes on to your children , then their children... it never ends. But the politicians who vote for it will be gone by then so they don't care.
