Im 20 years old, i have never voted before, but ive made a decision im going to this year, as i think it is a obligation really.
Ive put some research into 3 main groups.. Labour.. Lib Dems.. and Conservative.
I know, i am Not voting for labour.. I have come to this conclusion through my own research.
I dont agree with all this pro war.. and turning 7000 ex- militairy gurka's away from this country etc.
Im leaning towards Lib Debs.. who are anti the war in iraq.. ive read there withdrawel wishes and plan and i am definatly in support, they are a very green party and are in favour of supporting the gurkar's
However.. ive been reading the conservative front, and am liking the new justice system they are anticipatiing, the crackdown on immigration, rehabiliitation that is not paid for untill they have seen results.
I think after actually writing this im going to vote lib dems actually.. id like to hear other peoples points of veiw though..

It's your choice... make it yourself.

If you really have done your research then you should know where your beliefs/feelings fall! You don't need the opinion of people on Yahoo Answer. If your not sure let the people who know all the REAL the issues and problems vote and choose the right candidate! What people get mistaken on is just listening to a bunch of rhetoric, anyone can say something nice or "what the people want to hear" that does not mean they are going to do it (it's politics) what you do need to look at is the persons as a whole, their past and their achievements and credits. Ask yourself if they will actually do the things that they are saying. I can tell you one thing because I am voting and I have done quite a lot of research..a couple of the candidates only good quality and the thing they really have going for them is good rhetoric and maybe good looks... Don't vote just to vote make sure you know what is best first.

It's good you are doing research, to form your personal opinion. To be able to vote, is the most precious right we have as citizens, other than maybe freedom to worship as we please.

So, continue to do your research, and check out what the BIG American Newspapers are saying in their op-eds, and go to some BIG forums connected with those newspapers to see what the PEOPLE are saying back.

Then, in the quietness of your own room (and heart, and conscience) make your best decision, all by yourself. Be sure to GET there, and Vote!

May the best man win. 08

You are a very thoughtful person. Apparently, few people read you entire post or they would realize you are talking about the British election and not the US election.

If I were you, I would not base my decision on what anyone says here on Yahoo.

If you have to ask on yahoo answers to make a decision, you probably shouldn't vote at all. Voting is for people who can think for themselves.
