I seen that myself today on tv. Of course after people made a fuss about it, Obama and his campaign stated that's not what happen, they were meaning to use those flags at the convention.



Funny how they were found in trash bags though! I'm glad the flags were given to John McCain, and he put them to use.

I find it offensive if anyone discards an American flag like that. People don't even know the proper way to display or dispose of an old flag either. This is our flag and should be respected but our nation has many turning away from traditions and symbols, from God and from Country. Even Obama refused to wear a flag pin on his lapel. I am a proud American and am disgusted by this type of refusal and audacity. I would never vote for someone who doesn't appreciate what freedoms we have in the USA, what a privileged existance we are allowed to live; the Obama family sits in a church that preaches hatred (and they continue sitting there for 20 years, no questions asked. ) Michelle finds nothing to be proud of (until, of course, Barrack runs for office, then everything is alright and she feels pride!!) She has made anti white speeches and has an attitude which I don't care for. She is definitely not a class act (like Jaqueline Kennedy), though the media is pushing the idea that they are almost clones!! I don't want anyone with anti-American views being in charge of the nation I love. Save the propaganda for those who believe in fairy tales, thank you.

Ok seriously...maintenance and cleaners threw the flags away, NOT Obama himself. They were plastic flags, not real ones. How many times can you say people after the Fourth of July have thrown away their flags after parades and such? I know my family does. Does that make us traitors to America? No, of course not. We throw away plastic, cheap flags, not real ones. Obama is NOT a traitor to America, he is fighting for America to become the great nation is was meant to be.
