Question:
Why doesn't Obama have a "Joe the Plumber"?
2008-10-29 08:14:55 UTC
Could you imagine? What would his "Joe the Plumber" say?

WE want your money? WE don't want to work hard for what we want?

OR

Because Bush, Democrats and Republicans changed the Tax Codes we want Americans who didn't vote for the deal to pay us.

And the crowds start screaming Wealth Re Distribution, Wealth Re Distribution, Wealth Re Distribution....... How come this isn't happening?

What are your thoughts on this?

Obama doesn't want people to really understand what is really going to happen should he win. For example has anyone else noticed that the original $250,000 figure has steadily been dropping? Don't kid yourself into believing that the figure will not continue to drop. I heard today, Biden said tax break would be given to people earning $125,000 and under.

You Want to Know what a Democrat Joe would say first off He would say Maybe I Should Pay My Back Taxes Before I come out shooting off My Mouth about how they are spent then he would say Maybe we Should End our Spending 10 Billion Dollars a Month In Iraq Looking For WMD.and Get a Clear Vision on Victory in Afghanistan

Doesn't Obama represent the working middle class as a whole? That's the Democrats' largest base. The Republicans only have one plumber, who makes over a quarter million as their middle class example...

Obama doesn't have a"Joe the Plumber" because he doesn't need one. He has the whole country behind him, while John McCain has the "Joe the Plumbers" of the country.

I don't know about you, but if I were running for president I'd pay attention to everyone - not one specific douche.

By doing this, the McCain camp subconsciously is proving that they are going to specifically help certain groups or certain people. Obama is in this to help everyone, not just someone.

They've milked the Joe the Plumber shiit big time and really need to stop.

Obama doesn't need a Joe the Plumber. He "Hopes" that the clog in his drain goes away and it does.

Obama is his own magical plumber. I can't wait to see him walk on water or part the Red Sea.

Wealth Redistribution is quite simply picking the pockets and wallets of those who are successful and giving it to those that are too lazy to become successful.

Obama built his campaign around the well educated supporter .Why in the hell would Obama want a uneducated idiot like Joe the unlicensed plumber campaigning for him that could be very dangerous Joe said it himself when he made the stupidest statement quote: A vote for Obama mean the destruction of Israel unquote: Even Fox News was scrambling to deburke this idiot statement .lol

Without Obama, Joe the Plumber wouldn't exist.

My thoughts?

1) I am outraged that the GOP is trying to make a folk hero out of a tax scofflaw. Hey, if you don't pay yiour taxes to begin with, you have no right to complain about them!

2) We have been redistributing income since 1913. Wherfe have you been?

3) Under Republicans, the money has been going from the poor to the rich. Is that fair?

Because Joe the Plumber is a stupid campaign tactic that's turning off independent voters.

Capitalism

An economic system based on private ownership of the means of production, in which personal bling can be acquired through investment of capital and employment of peeps. Capitalism is grounded in the concept of fo' real enterprise, which argues that the man's intervention in the economy should be restricted and that a free market, based on supply and demand, will ultimately maximize consumer dough. These principles were most notably pwned in Adam Smith's treatise, The Wealth of Nations (1776), in which he opposed the prevailing theory of mercantilism. Capitalism has existed in a limited form in the economies of all hoods, but its modern importance dates at least from the Industrial Revolution that began in the 18th century, when bankers, merchants, playas and industrialists (the bourgeoisie) began to displace landowners in political, economic, and social importance, particularly in Great Britain. Capitalism stresses freedom of individual economic enterprise; however, government action has been and is required to curb its playa-hating, which have ranged from slavery (particularly in Britain and the United States), haxors(In Diablo and CS servers), and apartheid (in South Africa) to monopoly cartels and financial fraud. Capitalism does not presuppose a specific form of social or political organization-type ****: the democratic socialism of the Scandinavian states, the consensus politics of Japan, and the state-sponsored rapid industrial growth of South Korea while under military pwnage all coexist with capitalism. Yet despite the capitalist ideal of “hands-off” government, significant government 1337ness has existed in most capitalist nations at least since the Great Depression in the 1930s. In the United States, it exists in the form of subsidies, tax credits, incentives, free hours of AOL, and other types of exemptions. Though private production plays a major role in the economies of Germany and Japan, both nations have centrally planned industrial policies in which bankers, industrialists, playas, pimps, hos and labor unions meet and seek to agree to wage policies and interest rates; these countries reject the idea of letting the bling wholly determine the economy. The collapse of the Soviet Union and its fugly states in Eastern Europe (1989-91) left those countries with a heavy burden, much ****, and an uncertain future, representing a substantial retreat in the power of capitalism's traditional economic opponent, socialism. Also uncertain is the future course of China's economy, in which small-scale capitalism is increasingly allowed within a strictly Communist political deal.

Joe: I think Capitalism is a sham and can seriously hurt countries economically

Tim: GET OUT OF MY SIGHT YOU LIBERAL PINKO COMMIE!

capitalism

A system of poltical, social, and economic organization, in which, physical force is barred from human relationships. To the extent that it has been tried, its results have been amazing. I am typing this on a computer made by the capitalist system, for instance.

While there has been no example of pure capitalism, America at certain times in history was close, and Hong Kong has been close to pure capitalism. Notice the level of economic develop of these places under capitalism.

Capitalism

A form of government based on the idea that people who want to excel will excel, and those who do not wish to will not. It can easily be combined with democracy, though balance is needed for it to succeed, and oftentimes it can be corrupted. Though this has brought prosperity to the world not yet seen, it faces criticism from those who beleive in socialism, another effective form of government.

Capitalism: You have two cows, you sell one and buy a bull.

Socialism: You have two cows, you work and one is taken away to be given to another who has no cows because his have died due to neglect.

capitalism

An often maligned system that was endorsed by Philosophes of the Enlightenment and again by the Social Gospel of the Industrialist Period during the late 19th century. A system that rewards those who work hard and use their talents to the fullest extent, now has been confused and distorted into a systematic operation of oppression and greed, called "corporatism". Can actually be mixed with socialism to create a utopian society if managed properly, a system we almost achieved under Clinton but was trashed by Dubya.

Capitalism is actually a system built for a democratic society by the definition of Enlightened Philosophers, but Corporatism has distorted the meaning of capitalism horribly.

capitalism

Capitalism is a system of economics where you invest 'capital' into ventures and get money (more than your investment) if it succeeds. It is a system that rewards people with ideas. People who spew the whole: ri

Most actual plumbers probably do support Obama, as they don't earn over $250,000. I'm sure many of them are named Joe, as well. They probably even have licenses, and pay their taxes.
